Former ‘Below Deck’ Star Captain Lee Rosbach to Host New True-Crime Series ‘Deadly Waters’

“Ya can’t keep a good Captain down!”

The Stud of the Sea is taking on true crime.

Deadline announced this week that Captain Lee Rosbach of Bravo’s Below Deck has been tapped to host a new true-crime series coming to the Oxygen Network.

Deadly Waters will follow murders that take place in the open waters and oceans. The series is reportedly in production currently.

As The Ashley previously told you, Captain Lee revealed last year that he was “not invited back” for Season 11 of ‘Below Deck,’ possibly due to the uncertainty regarding his health.

“I did not quit. I did not retire. I was just not invited back,” Captain Lee said following Season 10. “I guess I can see their point of view. They really couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone on how my health was.”

As fans of the show know, Captain Lee had to leave Season 10 early due to health issues, during which Below Deck Mediterranen star Captain Sandy Yawn stepped in to fill Captain Lee’s shoes. Fortunately, Captain Lee was ultimately able to return to the yacht (and the show) to finish up the season.

In August, Bravo announced that Captain Lee and Kate Chastain would be getting their own series, Couch Talk with Captain Lee & Kate, which brought together the former ‘Below Deck’ captain and chief stew for a breakdown of the week’s biggest Bravo moments. The series premiered in August.

That face you make when you realize you’re gonna get paid to talk crap on Tom Sandoval…

Captain Lee also launched his own podcast, Salty with Captain Lee, in late 2023.

A premiere date for ‘Deadly Waters’ has yet to be announced.
