From getting arrested to getting booted from a brand deal, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the “Teen Mom” franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest “Teen Mom” news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Tyler Baltierra Loses Underwear Brand Deal Due to Haters
Tyler scored— and then lost— a brand deal with underwear company Shinesty this week, both due to his “haters.”
A few days ago, Tyler posted a video of himself decked out in new undies. There was a very noticeable— and very NSFW— outline of his baby (girl) maker in the chonies.
(Note: When The Ashley originally posted this, she was under the impression that Tyler himself added the GIF of his wife Catelynn dancing next to his tent-pitching underwear picture. The Ashley has since been informed that the dancing Cate was added by the funny folks on the ‘Teen Mom’ Reddit thread, where the video was posted. She apologizes for the mistake!)
Anyway, Tyler captioned the video, “Apparently haters get you modeling contracts. So thanks to the haters, couldn’t have done it without all of your attention!”
Tyler— who, as The Ashley has reported, has caused controversy for underwear-related issues in the past— didn’t seem to hold on to his “modeling contract” for long, though. On Tuesday, a Reddit user posted that they had contacted Shinesty and alerted them to a scandal Tyler was involved in last year in which he and his wife Catelynn were caught texting minor(s) who were allegedly friends with their biological daughter, Carly, whom Ty and Cate have been cut off from since 2024.
In October 2025, Catelynn and Tyler admitted they were wrong to have been texting and contacting minors to get access to Carly.
“Full accountability for being wrong,” Tyler said during an episode of the Cate & Ty Break It Down! podcast. “Should the conversation have happened that long as they did? Absolutely not. But I’ve said this multiple times…it was just the desperation.”
While it’s unknown what the hater told Shinesty about Tyler and the texting scandal, it was enough for the company to cut ties with Tyler (and his Magic Stick).
“We were previously unaware of this information and have immediately removed this creator from our affiliate program, as these behaviors do not align with our brand values,” the company’s response (which was posted to Reddit) reads. “We’ll also be removing any comments or posts associated with him effective immediately.”
Tyler has yet to comment on his getting the boot from the brand deal.

Tyler Baltierra’s Sister Amber Lands Behind Bars Again
Tyler is not the only Baltierra having a bad month. His sister, Amber, continues to struggle with staying out of jail, with the ‘Teen Mom’ sister landing behind bars again just this month.
According to Starcasm, the 38-year-old was booked on February 10 in Williamson County, Texas, where she was charged with two misdemeanor counts of possession of a dangerous drug, as well as one misdemeanor count of trespassing.
Amber’s misdemeanor trespassing charge reportedly stems from an outstanding warrant the mom of two had in Travis County, Texas, for an incident that occurred back in August. During the alleged incident, Amber was caught entering her former employer (a pet spa) after hours by an employee who was working late to make repairs and install cameras, as the business had already been burglarized earlier that month. Police were called, though Amber split before they arrived on the scene.
As you may remember, one of Amber’s latest noteworthy run-ins with the law happened less than a year ago when she was arrested for a probation revocation; however, that arrest occurred just months after she clocked an arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon– a second-degree felony charge– against her second husband, Jason Williams.
(Amber and Jason wed in August 2021, a few years after Amber relocated from Michigan to Texas to go to rehab and attempt to get sober. She was previously married to Billy Elkins Jr.— the guy who was on a legal leash during an infamous ‘Teen Mom OG’ episode— until 2018.)

Anyway, ‘Teen Mom’ fans may remember Amber occasionally appearing on the show alongside her brother and sister-in-law, Catelynn Lowell, over the years, often with her two children. In February 2022, Tyler’s catastrophe-of-a-sister legally gave up her rights to custody of her teen son and placed him with friends, The Sun reported at the time. Meanwhile, Amber’s daughter was reportedly living with Tyler and Catelynn, though the pair never publicly confirmed this.
According to Starcasm, Amber Baltierra has been booked into jail in Texas five times since February of 2025, In addition to her latest string of arrests, Amber’s rap sheet includes a 2019 arrest for assault against her ex-husband, Billy. Following that quick trip to the slammer, Amber took to social media insisting that she was maintaining her sobriety, before showing off her 18-month chip from AA.
Amanda Conner Denies Being High After Posting Erratic Video; Claims She’s Just Tired & Stressed
Ryan Edwards‘ wife, Amanda, is defending herself after posting several chaotic and erratic videos that had fans accusing her of being high (HIGH!)
Amanda— who, like Ryan, struggled with drug addiction for years— insisted this week that she is not high, but simply stressed out and tired.
In the video that sparked the most speculation that Amanda was once again using drugs, Mrs. Ryan Edwards is seen advertising false eyelashes…while using an “eyelash” filter…as you do.
Amanda says in the video that she is in a hurry because she’s prepping for her daughter Presley’s first birthday party, but then proceeds to speak extremely fast, jump from topic to topic and act generally spazzy. Viewers were quick to notice that Amanda was acting frantic in other videos she’s recently posted as well.
“I’m a recovering addict on 8 years imma say it, she’s high,” one person wrote. “I’ve been watch[ing] her since she started and nah she’s different.”
“She’s giving user,” someone else wrote.
“Always can tell in the eyes,” another person speculated. “Very glossy and she’s stumbling over her words.”
Others speculated that Amanda could be taking certain medications meant to treat ADHD, which can cause a person to act “tweaky” while they adjust to the meds, something Amanda denied in the comment section of her post.
Amanda also assured her fans that she is still drug-free.
“[I’m] most definitely sober and [have] been for the last three years, sorry to bust your bubble..” she wrote. “Now may it be due to stress, anxiety lack of sleep, possibly I don’t know. I don’t know what the hell y’all are even seeing or talking about.. but I’m not worried about it because literally all y’all do is make a[n] accusation.. we have been used to this… so it’s really is pointless.. anyways have a blessed day.”
“I’ve been dealing with a lot of mental health s**t the past month.. and just working on that alone is stressful but still working on it,” she told someone else in the comment section. “I’ll get there still sober. People just run their mouth because something seems off. I mean I get it, but I’m not gonna explain my life, especially my mental health.”
Amanda also made another TikTok addressing the situation and, in the comment section of that video, insisted again that she is sober.

“I have already addressed what it could be, and people still say that I am lying I don’t think that’s concerned, it’s more like hate mixed with bully or whatever,” she wrote. “Again I’m not worried about [what] anyone think. I like test monthly.. also I have a good support team. If I even had the urge to use again I would definitely hit them up and we would go from there, but it just gets exhausting explaining yourself so I’m just gonna let them have the rumors.”

Lexi Tatman Announces Pregnancy After Opening Up About Fertility Struggles
‘Young & Pregnant’ Season 1 stars Lexi Tatman and Kyler Lopez are expecting their third child, just months after Lexi candidly opened up on social media about her fertility struggles.
Over the weekend, Lexi took to Instagram to post a photo of a positive pregnancy test, alongside a cake that read, “Oh Baby.”
“All because of Love,” she captioned the pic. “Baby Lopez #3 due September 2026.”
As fans of ‘Young & Pregnant’ may remember, Lexi appeared on Season 1 of the MTV series with Kyler. The pair welcomed their first son, Tobias, on the show and went on to have a second son named Jay in 2019. Three years later, Lexi and Kyler tied the knot.
In September, Lexi revealed on social media that she had recently suffered a miscarriage and that she and Kyler had been struggling to have another child for more than a year, despite previously experiencing “two healthy pregnancies.” Lexi called the journey to growing her family “long and painful,” noting that she had experienced “three losses total” within the last couple of years.
“ … in that time, I’ve worked so hard on everything I can control,” she wrote. “I’ve changed my diet, started tracking my cycles, gotten my hormones tested and tried to give my body every possible chance to heal. And yet, we’ve been hit with heartbreak all over again.”
Lexi also fired back at trolls online who were criticizing her appearance after she began documenting her health and fitness journey online, insisting their unkind words were not going to motivate or help her “in any shape way or form.
“I run on SPITE,” she posted to her Instagram Story in October. “I will gain more weight to piss you off.”
In follow-up posts, Lexi encouraged those who were feeling “disgusted, upset or anything negative” by her content to unfollow her, while reminding them that she is “a whole MOTHER.”
“My house is clean, my kids are taken care of, and my work is long days,” she wrote. “I do not have much time for myself but I’m changing as best as I can. I have not ‘let myself go.’ I have gained weight. It’s not that deep.”
In the comment section of one of her health content videos, Lexi assured fans that she loves her body, even if she’s not “an ideal weight” at the moment, before reminding them that she had also had “a hell of a year or so” and was “in survival mode,” seemingly due to her ongoing fertility struggles.
In the comment section of her pregnancy announcement post, Lexi replied to a fan how she was staying positive about this pregnancy after experiencing so many losses.
“I absolutely spiral and am terrified!” she replied. “As you probably know I use dark humor to help cope but I also have to remind myself that whatever happens is out of my control and to just take it day by day. Everyday does get a little easier for me but it’s a constant fear in the back of my mind.”
Currently, Lexi and Kyler’s son Tobias is eight, while Jay is six.

People need to stop making it seem like Tyler and Catelynn were contacting someone pretending to be Carly’s friend for a perverted reason, it was not for bad intentions. He has a family to support, let him work. Go after the real pervs.

I don’t read any gossip sites except The Ashley so I may have missed something. I don’t agree with Catelynn and Tyler communicating with minors they don’t know and I think they went about things the wrong way. With that said, it is my understanding that they received a message from someone claiming that bad things were happening in Carly’s church and they were trying to get as more information and the person they were speaking to was an adult pretending to be a kid and it was a catfish situation. Again, I don’t agree with it, but it’s very different than contacting minors to harm them. This seems a little much. I wonder if the same person who catfished them was also the one who contacted the company. A stalker, maybe?
Tyler was getting into religious debates with this alleged teen via text and telling them that it was ok to lie to and disobey their parents. It’s wild for a grown man to ever say that to a teen girl. And let’s say that there was something “off” about their church – that is not Cate and Tyler’s business. Carly is not their child. They can report their concerns to the police or CPS if there is a concern of child abuse. Trying to pump information from kids is not the answer.

It’s too bad that Tyler’s sister didn’t place her children for adoption too. I know she originally made an adoption plan, but didn’t follow through with it. Her kids probably look at Carly and think about the lives they could have had.
I hate to say it, but it does seem like she’s using again. Going from being single, newly sober, and not having custody of your kid to being married, having another kid, and getting custody back of your first….i just think it’s too much for someone who was kinda “new to sobriety”. I never struggled with sobriety, but I did have horrific PPD after I had my child and I could easily see how an addict could go back to that in the trenches of the baby stage. Maybe it could be psych meds like someone else here said. Postpartum mental health care in this country is a JOKE. I hope she’s getting some help.

If you’re on psych meds right now- I would not post until you get used to them.
It’s either psych drugs or street drugs.. and my (hopeful) guess is that it’s psych drugs… they can make a lot of people act like this esp when given too large of a dose in the beginning. Her psychiatrist or PCP needs to bring her dosage down- esp working at a rehab. Her behavior, if she acts like she did in the lash video, could be triggering for others trying to detox and stay clean.
We know it’s not just being “tired”… even when she had a newborn- she didn’t like that. There were moments in the lash video I couldn’t even understand her- it was a hot mess. We’ve watched her for 2.5 years- there’s something off and everyone knows it.
**aside from psych or street drugs- it could also just be her being really dysregulated. Obviously we don’t know these people, and what they go through. I hope she’s okay and gets the help she needs- mentally (like she said).

Carly dodged a bullet being raised in this family. If they didnt go the adoption route and get picked, they woudn’t even have the MTV money. The kid would have been a meth head by the time she was 12.
Tyler didn’t lose the brand deal because of haters but because his own behavior texting minors and harassing Carly and her parents. And he thought he was so smart 😂

Weird that companies don’t do their research first. All these articles are just a search away. Most people should know not to use reality TV people for their brand anyway. Most are a reality TV star because the way they live their train wreck of a life gets good views.
I don’t have any sympathy for Tyler, however, this “brand” is implying some predator/Chris Hanson-level communication between Tyler and Carly’s alleged friends, when in reality, Tyler and Catelynn made some pretty stupid/immature/trashy decision in continuing contact. Huge difference – though yes, he should get an actual job.
Also, imagine having so much time on your hands that you personally contact a brand about this? I mean, volunteer some time as in your own community instead. There are actions people should actually be “cancelled” for, and then there are stupid decisions.

I agree that the leg leash episode was the best TM episode ever! It was like a classic episode of “Cops” haha. I wish they had featured ol’ Billy and Amber’s WT life more – I’ll never forget the look on Amber and Tyler’s stepdad’s face when he was trying to plug in and charge the ankle monitor 😅
While Tyler was not being a sexual predator, he was being a predator and a stalker. He was stalking a minor child (who is not his child in any legal way) by trying to get to her through other minor children. He claims it was desperation, but Carly is not his child and he has absolutely no right to any part of her life. It was unhinged and he’s lucky that Carly’s parents didn’t seek a restraining order.
I think the behavior of Tyler and Cate are definitely predatorial. They may have birthed Carly all those years back, but they signed away their rights and they adopted her out due to the fact that they were unable to care for her. She is not, and never has been, their child. You don’t have to be blood to be a parent to someone. You aren’t automatically a parent just because you share blood. Do you consider all the dead beat dads and moms who abandon their kids to be their parent? Do you consider a person to be a parent to a dog they care for and provide for? Carly is a random, unrelated, strange child to these creeps. B&T have been ANGELICALLY MERCIFUL if you ask me. Because if ANYONE was acting this way toward MY child, I’d be breathing fire. I hope for the kids’ sake that Amanda isn’t using, especially since Ryan was given more access to Stella and Jagger and she now has custody of her son. Four kids (3 of whom are probably traumatized) can definitely fray an addict’s nerves if they aren’t careful.

The Amanda we first met was rough around the edges, just in the way that Amanda is Amanda. But she was not the woman we are seeing in these latest videos. The jerky fast movements, the way her eyes look, even the fast and jumbled way she speaks. She is erratic and so chaotic. Absolutely nothing like the Amanda that was first introduced.
Ok. So viewers are probably right about using. I didn’t watch when she was on the seasons, they were in rehab where they met so they were supposedly clean and that is how she looked before, clean? If so that is sad with having a baby around. A baby is a lot on anyone let alone soneone who was once using prior.
