Josh Drummonds, who appeared on Season 2 of 16 and Pregnant with then-girlfriend Nikkole Paulun, has been released from federal prison after serving over six years behind bars for robbing a bank and a CVS.
According to The Sun, the 34-year-old one-time MTV star was released on Tuesday from the Federal Correctional Institution in Pollock, Louisiana, after serving time for a 2019 crime spree, in which he robbed an IBC Bank and a CVS in Houston, Texas.
Josh pleaded guilty in February 2020 to one count of interference with commerce by robbery and one count of bank robbery. In addition to being sentenced to 96 months in prison, Josh was ordered to pay back the $4,690 he stole from IBC Bank, along with the $176 he stole from CVS.
Now that he’s out of the slammer, Josh will be under supervised release for three years and must pay the remaining balance of his restitution. He’s also been ordered to participate in mental health and drug treatment, as well as enroll in vocational training.
In a statement to the outlet on Wednesday, Nikkole said that a reunion between Josh and their teenage son Lyle (who was born on Nikkole’s “16 and Pregnant” episode, which aired in 2010) is unlikely at this time, as she considers her ex to be a “danger” to her family and to society.
“Josh and I have no contact, and there are currently no plans for him to see Lyle,” she said. “I consider him a danger to my family and to society as a whole. The reality is that he has missed the majority of our son’s life, and a prison release doesn’t magically undo years of absence or suddenly make him a father now.”

Nikkole went on to say that, while Josh was behind bars, she was raising their son and “building a stable, happy life for our family.” (Years after giving birth to Lyle, Nikkole welcomed daughter Ellie with ex-boyfriend Ryan Rice; she and husband Kyle Ledda welcomed son Bodhi in 2021.)
“Moving forward, my focus remains on our safety and protecting my son as much as possible,” Nikkole added.
As The Ashley previously reported, at the time of Josh’s 2019 crime spree, he was also arrested for “meth possession with intent to deliver” and charged with violating his parole. His April 2019 arrest came less than a month after he was sprung from jail after serving more than eight months for attempting to take a police officer’s weapon and assaulting a police officer during an encounter in a Texas hospital in September 2018.
Nikkole previously alleged that Josh harassed her for years while he was living in their home state of Michigan. In 2017, Josh moved to Texas, where he was eventually arrested for choking a relative that he was living with at the time.
In a video posted to TikTok last month, Nikkole gave fans a rundown of Josh’s rap sheet, where she explained that from Lyle’s birth in 2009 to 2012, “Josh [was] just constantly in and out of jail.”

In 2012, however, Josh went to prison for the very first time, she explained, for “breaking into [her] mom’s house when she wasn’t home.” Because Josh ended up fleeing the scene, he ended up getting charged with fleeing and eluding.
“And because he had been in so much trouble leading up to this, they gave him four years in prison,” Nikkole said, adding that Josh remained in Michigan while serving his prison sentence from 2012 to 2016.
After Josh’s release in 2016, he and Nikkole got back together for about a year– a time that Nikkole referred to as “the worst year of [her] entire life”– during which Josh was reportedly charged for domestic violence against her. Nikkole went on to break up with Josh in early 2017, leaving him homeless until he moved to Texas to live with his stepsister– the same relative he was later arrested for assaulting.

From there, Nikkole said that Josh continued to be “in and out of jail,” with his crimes becoming “way more scary and violent.”
“Eventually, he attempts to rob a bank,” she said. “And if you didn’t know, robbing a bank is a federal crime, which is why he’s in federal prison. He’s been locked up since, like, 2018 or 2019, and unfortunately, he’s getting out in about a month.”

While I may or may not agree with this, this attention seeking hoe bag of course makes it about hurt. Let us remember when she faked a miscarriage for attention? Homegirl is a whack a do
About her. Darn autocorrect. Should have proofread lol
The fact he’s a danger to society is about the only thing I’ve ever believed that has come out of Nikkole’s mouth.
I didn’t even recognize this was Nikkole at first. Homegirl straight up bought herself an entirely new face.
That guy is just a danger to society in general.
