Surprise! ‘Jersey Shore’ Star Jenni “J-Woww” Farley Marries AEW Wrestler Zack Carpinello; Details on the Couple’s Secret “Beauty and the Beast” Inspired Wedding

This calls for some celebratory fist pumping…

Surprise…Jenni and Zack have tied the knot!

On Wednesday night, Jersey Shore star Jenni “J-Woww” Farley married her fiancé of five years, Zack Carpinello, in a surprise ceremony at Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

People reports that Jenni and Zack invited 50 of their loved ones to what they thought was a private screening of Jenni’s unreleased film, Nanny Cam. The pair sent out themed invites, set up red-carpet signage and decor, and set the scene for a movie premiere, only to surprise their guests by saying “I do.”

In a statement to the outlet, the newlyweds shared that they wanted their big day to “feel authentic,” with their goal set on “creating memories, not creating a production.”

“The surprise element, the family focus, and the intimate guest list all allowed us to create something personal and meaningful,” they said. “We’ve spent months keeping this secret, creating invitations, planning the movie-themed details, and building the surprise. Seeing our family and friends go from thinking they’re attending a special screening for Nanny Cam to realizing they’re actually at our wedding will be a moment we’ll never forget.”

Jenni and Zack chose the day with their union in mind: the 24th falls right between their respective birthdays– Zack’s on December 21 and Jenni’s on February 27. In the past, birthdays were a point of contention for the ‘Jersey Shore’ family, as 31-year-old Zack is a full decade younger than his now-wife.

The couple’s ceremony was not your average wedding celebration. Zack’s entrance music was an homage to the James Bond franchise, with the wrestler rolling in to David Arnold’s “The Name’s Bond– James Bond” from Casino Royale. Jenni’s entrance song was “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey– “a tribute to [her] best friend” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who danced to the song after tying the knot with husband Jionni LaValle.

Jenni’s mermaid-cut dress was true to her vision of an outfit that’s “romantic, timeless, and worthy of a modern fairytale.” She said that her lacy get-up was “the perfect balance of elegance and drama” and credited New Jersey wedding boutique Castle Couture Bridal for the gown. She also shouted out makeup artists and hair stylists Kat Fell and Kristen Gallo for her wedding look.

The intimate restaurant was adorned in red and rose gold decor with abundant roses and candles, inspired by “a modern Beauty and the Beast fairytale with a dark romance twist.”

According to Jenni, the star of the show was the color ruby.

“From my ruby ring and Zack’s new rose gold wedding band featuring rubies, to our color palette and the gifts we incorporated for our children, the ruby represented love, family, and the next chapter of our story,” she explained.

Ruby also happens to be Jenni’s daughter Meilani’s birthstone, so Zack gifted her a ruby ring, noting that he wanted his now-stepchildren to feel “celebrated and included every step of the way.” (Zack gifted Jenni’s son Greyson a soccer-themed gift to mark the occasion.)

“This wedding is about our family, not just the two of us,” the couple explained. “We wanted the day to celebrate not only our love story, but also the family we’ve built together over the last seven years.”

Jenni and Zack’s reception included quick bites and drinks, allowing guests to spend plenty of time on the dance floor, with the couple wanting to emphasize the “family celebration rather than a traditional reception.” The newlyweds’ tiered wedding cake from local bakery Confections of a Rockstar was draped with red roses to match the ceremony’s dark elegant theme.

The happy couple will be celebrating their honeymoon with close friends and family as they travel to Italy and Switzerland before returning home to focus on “more family adventures, continued growth together, and creating a lifetime of memories with our children, family and friends.”

Five years ago, Zack proposed to Jenni on top of the Empire State Building on the ‘Jersey Shore’ star’s 36th birthday. Zack popped the question just two years after Jenni finalized her divorce from husband Roger Mathews, and two years after he and Jenni briefly split.

Fans can watch the newlyweds on the current (and final) season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. New episodes air Thursdays on MTV.
