Leon Brown Doubles Down After Asking ‘Sister Wives’ Fans to Not “Say Hi” to Them in Public: “That’s a Very Reasonable Boundary”

“I said what I meant and I meant what I said…”

Leon Brown– the only child of former spouses Kody and Meri Brown– is doubling down after recently asking that Sister Wives fans not come up and “say hi” them in public, insisting that it’s “a very reasonable boundary.”

As The Ashley previously reported, Leon– who came out as transgender and queer in 2022 and uses they/them pronouns– recently set some firm boundaries with fans of their family’s TLC series, stating on TikTok that they are “not out in public to be people’s entertainment or to be consumed by people, [they’re] out in public to live [their] life.”

“As tempting as it may be to join you all in some Kody Brown bashing, I’m gonna pass.”

“So if you see me out, don’t come say hi,” Leon went on to tell followers last month. “If you have something to say, you can send a message, maybe I’ll see it. I’m pretty private and I will only share what I wanna share and I don’t like talking to strangers in public that know me and I don’t know them.”

Unsurprisingly, Leon’s boundary setting wasn’t well-received across the board, with many people on social media taking issue with Leon– who has mostly avoided ‘Sister Wives’ in recent years– telling fans just weeks earlier that they are ready to open up about their experience growing up in a “polygamist cult” and being raised on TV.

Leon’s boundary statements continued to be a point of contention among their fans this week after the 30 year old posted a TikTok inviting followers to join them for some breathwork exercises. In the comments, multiple fans asked Leon to clarify their recent comments, with one person asking if they misunderstood Leon’s comments, or if Leon did, in fact, not want fans to “communicate at all” with them.

“This is crazy,” Leon replied to the comment. “I don’t want strangers coming up to me on the street, touching me, telling me way too personal information, insisting I talk to them. That’s a very reasonable boundary.

“Do you want random strangers touching your body without consent?” Leon continued. “Come on. That’s not the same thing as sharing my love of breathwork on my platform.”

(As The Ashley told you last week, Leon recently launched their own Patreon, offering monthly breathwork/medication memberships beginning at $17. Leon and their spouse, Audrey Kriss, have also offered a “With Love, Audj & Leon” monthly mail club since 2025, where subscribers can receive a letter, art piece, sticker and poem from the couple for $11 month.)

As fans took the to the comments of Leon’s TikTok to debate their recent statements, the former ‘Sister Wives’ star popped back in to issue another pointed statement to their critics.

“Babe, be less obsessed with me,” they wrote.

In another TikTok posted this week, Leon encouraged followers to “protect their peace,” while directly addressing the backlash they’ve received for their recent boundary comments.

“Imagine hating me for having boundaries but I’m literally just spinning in my backyard,” they wrote on a video of themself literally spinning in circles.

  1. I find it hard to believe that this person is being approached so often it requires multiple posts about these boundaries.

  2. Reasonable boundary? Yea definitely.
But let’s be honest, not one person would see her walking down the street and A)know who she is and B) care enough to say hi to her.
