Ronnie Ortiz-Magro had his day in court on Friday in Los Angeles — the city where he was arrested just one month ago for getting into a physical altercation with baby mama Jen Harley.
According to Radar Online, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. Additionally, while Jen was not present for the hearing, the city attorney requested that a temporary protective order be granted for Jen and Jen and Ronnie’s daughter Ariana, which was approved by the judge.
As The Ashley previously told you, Ronnie was arrested October 4 after getting into an altercation with Jen at a Los Angeles-area Airbnb the couple was staying at. Ronnie was arrested after Jen claimed he struck her and then chased her with a knife while he was holding their daughter. Ronnie went on to lock himself and Ariana in the home, ultimately earning himself charges for kidnapping as well as felony domestic violence. (Those charges were eventually dropped.)
Following the October altercation, the Los Angeles Police Department issued an Emergency Protective Order against Ronnie, requiring that he stay 100 yards away from Jen. The order expired October 11.
Three weeks ago, Ronnie’s kidnapping charge was removed and days later, the reality star received more good news when he learned he would not face any felony charges for the incident either. He was, however, charged with seven misdemeanors, according to TMZ — one count of domestic violence, one count of brandishing a weapon, one count of child endangerment, one count of criminal threats, one count of false imprisonment (of Jen), and two counts of resisting arrest.
Ronnie is scheduled to return to court on November 12. He faces up to six years in jail for his alleged crimes.
