‘Very Cavallari’ Stars Jay Cutler & Kristin Cavallari Have Split After 10 Years Together: “We Have Come to a Loving Conclusion To Get a Divorce”

“We’re done!”

Very Cavallari fans woke up to some very shocking news on Sunday morning.

The show’s stars, Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler, announced on their Instagram accounts that they are divorcing. The couple– who has been together for 10 years and married since 2013— has three children together, Camden, Jaxon and Saylor.

“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” both Kristin and Jay shared in a statement posted to their individual Instagram accounts.

“We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of.”

The couple— who had given fans no indication that there was real trouble brewing in their marriage— shared what went wrong.

“This is just the situation of two people growing apart,” their statement reads. “We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”

Jay and Kristin spent three weeks together in the Bahamas a month ago, after being stuck there due to the C0VID-19 global pandemic.

Fans were understandably shocked by the couple’s announcement, with many left wondering what will happen to ‘Very Cavallari’ if Jay and Kristin’s marriage is over.

“No Jay, no show!” one person wrote in the comment section of Jay’s post.

“Agreed! He made that show! Need some ‘VeryCutler’ asap,” another person wrote.

‘Very Cavallari’ has aired on E! since 2018, with Jay featured prominently on the series. The show’s third season finished airing last month.

  1. I’m always bothered by the canned publicists comments about them lovingly separating with great respect and admiration. I don’t think they sat down together and wrote that. It’s been a day and already it’s coming out that Kristin is saying “unbecoming marital conduct” on the part of Jay, when they went in their 3 week Bahama vacation and took all of the loved up Instagram pictures they already knew they were divorcing, they’d been having problems for a long time, they always knew they were very different from each other and on & on. Basically the opposite of everything they tried to portray. Hopefully, they didn’t confuse the kids as much as they have seemed to confused everyone else.

  2. Welp. I guess it just goes to show you that you can’t judge how happy someone’s relationship is by their Instagram.

Also, isn’t it odd that they are going straight to divorce (instead of separation) even though they were on vacation together mere weeks ago? I guess trouble must have been brewing for a while

  3. I have zero interest in their divorce (or their lives, or their show), but I always take issue when reality stars ask for the public and media to “respect our privacy” in things like this. Bitch, you have been leveraging your personal life for fame and fortune since you were in high school. It’s very hypocritical to want privacy when things get rough, while also amping up the drama for your benefit when it suits you.

  4. Awww, I was really rooting for them…but seeing them on the show, Jay seemed like he wanted to just retire and live in the country and raise his family, she was trying to have a career…He should’ve known you can’t turn a reality star into a housewife…unless she’s Sammie from the Jersey Shore. Hopefully this will be a “loving” divorce for the sake of the kids.

    1. I think you’re right! I also keep forgetting (because I’m not a sports fan and didn’t know who Jay was before) that Jay was away from his kids and home playing football for many years. I think when he retired, he just wanted to take it easy, be with his kids, live in the country. He had no financial worries so he could do that. I feel like Kristin saw that as him being lazy. Now she’s away all the time with all of her businesses and isn’t at home so the shoe is on the other foot. Maybe that caused a rift? Sorry, this quarantine has me being armchair Oprah!😂

  5. Who didn’t see this coming? They broke up, she wound up pregnant with trap baby and they got married. That always ends well, no?

    1. I almost feel like he’s the one that did the trapping…I think she said in 1 episode of Very Cavallari that he told her he loved her after 2 months, and proposed to her after 8 months then they broke up and she seemed to be the one who always had reservations and spoke out about problems and stuff that needed to change in their relationship. I don’t think he wanted her to leave again, so he knocked her up…I agree, I don’t think marriages that start like that hardly ever last, so I am surprised they lasted 10 years.

      1. I’m surprised they lasted 10 years, but 10 years is a long time, so I thought they were in it for the long haul, but I guess they got that 10 year itch.

      2. It would have been hard to trap her if she were on birth control. I tried to watch the show but I’ve never been a fan of her, she’s always struck me as a stuck up mean girl and her voice is hard to listen to. Jay always looked miserable. Who knows what went on in the relationship because Kristin was the only one that made the decision to share it in national TV. I think Jay would rather be on the farm with the cattle.

          1. True. Maybe they trapped each other, who knows? Could’ve been planned. They had three kids one year a part from each other.

  6. I get that marriage isn’t always a load of laughs, but these two have three little kids! Have they really exhausted all possibilities to keep their family together? This seems really sudden.
