Vanderpump Rules fans may not have seen the last of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright…
While the couple announced last week that they would not be returning to the Bravo series for Season 9, E! News reports that the expectant parents are already working on some new projects, including one that will allow them to continue sharing their story on-camera.
“Jax and Brittany are planning to get their own show based on their new phase of life becoming parents,” a source claimed on Thursday.
“They have started to film ideas and are pitching it right now. We will definitely be seeing them return. Many people are interested in this new journey and they are very excited to share.”
While Jax and Brittany have yet to comment on this move, Jax has hinted to fans on social media (multiple times) that something is in the works. When a follower recently suggested Jax and Brittany “start a new show with all the pregnant couples,” Jax replied, “Stay tuned!”
(As ‘VPR’ fans know, along with Jax and Brittany, Stassi Schroeder –- who was booted from ‘VPR’ this summer –- is currently expecting a baby with her husband Beau Clark. Lala Kent and fiancé Randall Emmett are also expecting their first child together, as are Scheana Shay and boyfriend Brock Davies.)
After announcing his departure, Jax warned assured fans that they would be seeing his and Brittany’s mugs again soon.
” … will be back on your TVs soon don’t worry…. ,” he said last week on Instagram.
In addition to his not-so-subtle social media comments, Jax hinted on Thursday that he and Brittany may be following in the footsteps of the Kardashian-Jenner family, who revealed plans this week to create “global content” for Hulu beginning next year, following the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

While Jax did not confirm anything, his “Hmmmmm” comment paired with a winking emoji has some ‘VPR’ fans assuming a streaming platform is the route he and Brittany are interesting in pursuing.
As Jax and Brittany allegedly look for a new project to pursue, the remaining ‘VPR’ cast is still waiting for filming of the show to resume due to COVID-19 restrictions and the fact that the series is filmed primarily within restaurants.
“Due to L.A.’s COVID restrictions, it’s hard to say when the show will come back but production is very much figuring out a direction for the show that would work in this new time,” a source told E! News this week.
Andy Cohen recently commented on the future of ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ stating that even he had no idea if and when filming will resume.
“When that show is going to start shooting again, I have no idea,” he said, adding that he’s looking forward to a Jax- and Stassi-less ‘Vanderpump.’
“I’m excited, excited, I’m excited for there to be a shift, also.”

I think Jax means we will see them back on TV when they show repeats of VPR. Him thinking he is at the same level as Kim and Ko is very amusing. Not one person on this earth is thinking they need MORE Jax and Britney.
