Stassi Schroeder Says a ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Spinoff Was in the Works Before Bravo Fired Her in 2020; Reveals Why She Accused Faith Stowers of Committing a Crime in 2018

Off With My Head AND my spinoff… “

Fired Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder claims a spinoff of ‘VPR’ was in the works prior to Bravo giving her the boot in 2020 for racist actions against former co-star Faith Stowers.

While promoting her new book on The Morning Toast this week, Stassi told host Claudia Oshry the spinoff–- which was tentatively titled Valley Rules–- would have been introduced to fans through a transitional episode featuring her wedding to husband Beau Clark. (As fans may recall, ‘VPR’ was introduced this same way via Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.)

“They were going to slowly transition us and keep ‘Vanderpump Rules’ with a whole new cast of people who work at the restaurant, and so the rest of us would transition into this,” Stassi said, according to Page Six.

Stassi–- who was fired in June 2020 along with Kristen Doute for allegedly calling the police on Faith in 2018 for a crime she did not commit–- added, “So that’s not happening.”

“Well, I mean…the spin-off isn’t but…”

(Stassi and Beau ultimately postponed their wedding in Italy due to the pandemic and instead, tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in September 2020 before welcoming their daughter the following January.)

While discussing the incident that led to her firing, Stassi claimed to have seen an article written about the alleged crime, along with a photo of the suspect who she believed “in my soul” to be Faith.

“What soul?!”

“Kristen and I thought we did our due diligence … we acted on gossip, and that was the problem,” she said. “I did not witness anything, like, I didn’t witness Faith doing anything, and that is truly … the biggest lesson.

“You can’t go accusing people of things that you’ve never witnessed before,” she continued.

“Well, you can, you just can’t get caught doing it…”

According to Us Weekly, in her new book, Stassi claimed she “sensationalized” the story about Faith on an episode of The Bitch Bible podcast in 2018 “for the sake of a good podcast story.” As for accusations that her actions were motivated by Faith’s race, she wrote, “just because it wasn’t about race for me, doesn’t mean that it wasn’t about race for Faith.”

Stassi claimed her actions were “absolutely motivated” by her co-star and ex-boyfriend, Jax Taylor, cheating on his now-wife, Brittany Cartwright, with Faith.

“I mean, who else would they blame MY cheating on?!”

“She deeply hurt my friend,” she wrote. “I was absolutely motivated by that. And I was motivated by the fact that I thought she was guilty of these crimes. I basically thought I was the karma God just dishing it out exactly where I felt it should be.”

From devil to karma God…

Stassi was fired from ‘VPR’ a week after Faith blasted both her and Kristen in an online interview with Floribama Shore star Candace Rice in 2020, recounting her experience as the only Black cast member on the Bravo reality series and the mistreatment Stassi and Kristen subjected her to.

In addition to getting axed from ‘VPR,’ Stassi’s actions led to the cancelation of her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi. She was also dropped by her agency, United Talent Agency (UTA), as well as her publicist. The former SURver said she reached out to Faith “the week after I lost all my jobs” in an effort to talk to her about the incident, but Faith refused to speak with her.

Stassi’s new book, Off With My Head: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook to Surviving Rock Bottom, is available now. When Stassi announced the book back in January, some fans were upset because they felt that Stassi was trying to profit off her past racist actions and words.

  1. So if you have a tip for police on a suspect that you believe to be a certain person, should you not give the information you have b/c the said person is African American? And if you are wrong, that person can scream racism? Stassi was wrong for trying to get back at her co-worker, but if she truly believed she was involved in the crime, you shouldn’t be condemned for leaving a tip. Ooh man, that spin-off would have been Gold!!!

  2. Would of been tv gold. We all make mistakes some are worst than others but u can’t condemn everyone for them. What happen to second chances most people changed as they grow. Don’t believe that stassi is racist period. Think people that show growth deserves a chance. Bravo keeps convicted felons on shows tired of there double standards

  3. Honestly so glad there wasn’t a spin off show. The only person decent out of all that was fired is Britney. The others are all horrible selfish people. Especially Stassi. I truly hope she has changed for the sake of her beautiful little girl. However, there’s a saying my Momma use to always say. “A leopard never changes its spots”.
