“1000-Lb. Sisters” Star Amy Slaton Debuts New Relationship On Social Media Following Her Divorce From Michael Halterman

“This Slaton sister ain’t single no more, y’all!”

Amy Slaton is fully embracing cuffing season.

The 1000-Lb. Sisters star took to TikTok on Tuesday to introduce fans to her new boyfriend with a slideshow of photos set to the song “Baby I Love You” by Gaspar.

While Amy’s assorted snapshots largely featured just her and her new man–- whose name is Tony Rodgers, according to People–- there were also a couple photos of Amy’s boyfriend spending time with Gage and Glenn, the two sons Amy shares with ex-husband Michael Halterman.

“How do I get one of those nifty TLC contracts, kid?”

Although Amy didn’t reveal many details about her new man in the comments of her TikTok post, she did reply to one person who questioned if Tony had a job.

“Yes,” Amy wrote in response.

“Tony work,” she wrote to another one.

According to a report by The Sun in August, Tony and Amy began seeing each other around May and, by August, he had moved into her Kentucky home. He is reportedly originally from Michigan.

As The Ashley previously told you, Michael filed for divorce from Amy in March, though Amy took the first steps to end the marriage when she moved herself and their sons in with her sister and co-star Tammy Slaton in February.

At the time, Amy had accused Michael of “hitting” and “mistreating” their boys and went on to file an emergency protective order later that month, though she later asked a judge to withdraw the order.

Michael and Amy’s divorce was finalized in September.

Amy’s latest TikTok marks the first time the TLC star has publicly confirmed that she and Tony are together–- “4ever,” allegedly–- however, People reports that fans began speculating the two were involved as far back as July after Tony was spotted in the background of a YouTube video Amy posted from Glenn’s first birthday.

While Tony is not expected to appear in the upcoming season of “1000-Lb. Sisters,” fans will see Amy and Michael’s relationship struggles as their marriage begins to crumble.

Michael, gearing up for a 1000-Lb. Sisters-style showdown in the upcoming season.

Season 5 of “1000-Lb. Sisters” premieres December 12 on TLC.

      1. Why does that comment have to be racist? Clearly what the poster meant is he isn’t attractive. Neither was Michael. Geez. Why do some people make everything about race?
