Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi Claims ‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’ Producers Made Her Give Mean Toast at Angelina Pivarnick’s Wedding

“We were victimized by the producers! Honest!”

Nicole Polizzi and her two Jersey Shore Family Vacation co-stars, Deena Cortese and Jenni Farley, took quite a lashing from fans back in November, when audio of the girls’ bridesmaids’ speech/roast at Angelina Pivarnick was leaked, exposing some of the cruel things that Nicole & Co. said about Angelina at her wedding.

Now, though, Nicole is revealing what really happened behind-the-scenes of the wedding— which is being shown currently on ‘Family Vacation’. During the latest episode of her It’s Happening with Snooki & Joey podcast, Nicole revealed that the show’s producers forced her, Jenni and Deena to do the roast.

“Well, we’re not really supposed to talk about but…f**k it, it’s my podcast,” Nicole began.

“I literally told producers, ‘I’m not going to do a speech because I’m not comfortable doing one; I don’t think we should be doing one,” Nicole said. “[I said] ‘We’re not going to make a mockery of this wedding’ and of course we were forced to do something we didn’t want to do.”

This revelation comes just a few days after Angelina posted a message on her Instagram that stated she had forgiven her co-stars and had moved forward from the roast. (It did take her a while, though. Nicole stated that, by late January, Angelina was still not speaking to her or the other girls.)

Nicole said she was relieved to see that Angelina was no longer angry about what happened.

“I’m really glad that Angelina knows that we weren’t being spiteful and being a**holes because we truly wanted the best wedding for her,” Nicole said. “We did so much to help her be comfortable and help her with the wedding and stuff, so I’m really glad that she realizes that weren’t not f**king a**holes and we truly didn’t mean to ruin her wedding.”

After the first clip of the brutal wedding speech aired, Deena posted— then quickly deleted— a message on Instagram stating that the show’s producers made them do the roast. Nicole addressed Deena’s deleted post as well.

“Deena was correct, producers forced us to do the speech. I literally said ‘no’ like 10 times. Even though MTV paid for Angelina’s wedding fully and it was the final episode of the season, of course they wanted it to be crazy with all of us there. Her sister was the maid of honor and I felt she should do the speech…

“I was really uncomfortable,” Nicole continued. “I was like, ‘I’m not doing a f**king speech…I don’t like to be forced to do something I’m not comfortable with and that’s what Deena was talking about.”

Nicole said she was also against the ‘Jersey Shore’ boys doing the dance routine they did at the wedding.

“I don’t even think they should have done a dance,” she said. “Just, like, have us all celebrate a beautiful day for her. And it just turned into a reality show, which, I’m not surprised, because MTV did pay for the whole wedding.”

“Thanks for sneaking in that fun financial fact, Snooks!”

Nicole acknowledged that, if you let the network pay for your wedding, you know you’re giving up some control of what goes down. Still, she said she’s happy that Angelina knows that she, Deena and Jenni weren’t trying to be “mean girls” or “bullies,” which is what many fans have accused the trio of being since the audio was leaked.

She also gave insight into the part of the teaser clip where she is shown saying “I’m f**king done with this show!”

“That’s when I realized that I’m not coming back to the show,” Nicole said. “I don’t like to be forced to do things, and it’s not fun for me anymore, and the drama is so unnecessary at my age— 32 with three kids. I’m not into it, girl!”

As The Ashley previously reported, Nicole announced back in December that she was done filming new episodes of ‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation,’ likening the current filming situation to “a nightmare.” Several members of the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast, including Mike Sorrentino and Vinny Guadagnino have tried to convince her to stay on the show, but Nicole claims she’s still over it. She said her co-host Joey Camasta was sitting at the same table as she and the other girls were.

“You saw all of us devastated, like, ‘What did we sign up for?'” Nicole said. “It wasn’t great. I’m really glad you guys get to see it, but I’m just done with it. I’m really glad to move on, and I’m glad Angelina wants to move on as well. We’re all gonna move on from this and just grow individually.”

Of course, Nicole realized that her blab session will probably anger the show’s producers.

Raise your hand if you wish the girls had stood up to the producers…
“I’ll probably get in trouble for speaking the truth,” Nicole said.

  1. I believe it. Everything is manufactured now because they don’t have any drama. The original show was good because it seemed natural and unscripted. They were young and hit messes. Now they are parents and on the first reunion show Jenni would go to sleep at like 8.

  2. I think the blow back for the mean girl comments at another girls wedding was very bad for the three of them. So, you do what everyone else does in todays society, blame someone else, no accountability. Sadness

    1. Snooks is NOT Italian. She is of Chilean descent and was adopted and raised by Italian parents. Snooks: Italy says to keep your mean girl hands off the colors of their flag! JWoww is NOT Italian either. She is Spanish and Irish. Deena is born to Italian-American parents. The flag on the box SHOULD be New Jersey with booze, popcorn and pizza on it as the only one in that photo that has anything to do with Italy is Deena. ANGELA the BRIDE belongs to Italian and Polish descent. That concludes the boring history lesson meant for nothing other than to say that when they are in a photo as they are Snooks and JWoww are wannabees with mean girl knees.

  3. That’s kind of hard to believe the producers “forced” them to give a hateful speech.

I dont know the location of Angelina’s wedding, but shes from Long Island; no doubt the people at her wedding could have had enough trashy drama on their own. Alls the cast had to do was discuss it. No doubt there’d be at least 1 or 2 cast members involved in some way (not trashing Angelina, I mean other drama).

No wonder Sammi want some nothing to Do with the show anymore, So tacky!

  5. So what if MTV paid for Angelina’s wedding, that makes it ok to give a rude, disrespectful speech? So by that logic, if MTV paid for Mike’s wedding as well, does he deserve that same treatment? Did you give some speech about how the two of you have had a falling out, like when he was going around saying you cheated on Jionni with him or how he was addicted to drugs or his incarceration etc etc. No. In fact, Vinny, Pauly, and even Ronnie did something entertaining and fun for Mike as his friends and best men. They have all had their differences too, but at least for that day they put it aside and made it a good time (aside from Jen showing up for Ronnie). Just goes to show you that all Jenni, Nicole and Deena can do is be mean girls. Grow up! I honestly believe they intended on doing those speeches regardless of production input and only are upset at the backlash they have received. And even IF production insisted they give speeches, they certainly could have and should have been able to throw in a couple of jabs without being so harsh. That is how a lot of wedding speeches are, but they usually come from a good place. You can tell theirs was just mean spirited. Especially since Nicole continues to excuse it all by saying MTV paid for it so that is what you should expect.

  6. I’m not sure I believe it they have all done some pretty nasty things. Here is the thing if they didn’t want to do it they shouldn’t have done it. it was the last episode they made a ton of money they didn’t have to do the toast. if they thought it was so bad refuse what could mtv do at that point. It was a horrible thing to do to someone on their wedding day

  7. I believe it. Before the wedding Angelina had pictures of her bridal party, the 3 stooges weren’t apart of it. Having production set it up and force them to be bridesmaids doesn’t surprise me

      1. Agreed 100% about Snooks. Mean Girl Ride or Die bitch. When her comment about Mike looking so good after coming out of prison was “I need to go to jail,” it just felt so awkward in the room for her because you never know if she really means what she says or not. At least I don’t know when she is lying or being honestly stupid on camera. Her decision to “leave” is really yet to be seen imo, as I feel that if enough people begged her she would do it. But who knows?

  8. People are so stupid to have actually fallen for the bs that they weren’t forced to do this. Even you, the ashley, who knows all about reality tv, trashed them. Ignorant

    1. You can’t be forced to do what they did … they chose to do it maybe with pursasion but still they are the ones who made the speech

  9. Sooooooooo……..Paulie and Jen are going to hook up? What about her creepy smiling boyfriend she professes to love so much?

    1. Wait…..what?! AGAIN?! (They hooked up in the first season already while she was dating I think Tom was his name, he wanted to sell her nudes or something of that sorts few years ago) Pauly can do so much better…yikes.
