EXCLUSIVE! Neighbors Near Filming Location of ‘Teen Mom’ Spin-Off Are Furious: “Embarrassed to Have Our Community Associated With This Trash”

“Howdy, neighbors!”

The Teen Mom Spin-off continues to cause problems.

The new show— which is currently filming in San Diego County with a large number of cast members from all three ‘Teen Mom’ shows— has been plagued with problems since the first night of filming. While this has become quite the headache for the cast and producers, it’s also starting to anger the locals who are outraged that their quiet town is being overrun by the ‘Teen Moms!’

Residents who leave near the filming location (which The Ashley is not revealing for security reasons), are “totally disgusted” by the filming, one local tells The Ashley.

“They’ve set up these bright production lights all around the lake and they shine into resident’s homes at all hours of the night,” the resident tells The Ashley. “At first security was telling locals that they were filming a ‘family documentary.'”

The lights from production shining into the residents’ homes across the lake…

On the local area’s Nextdoor message board, locals appear to be angry that the area will be associated with the drama and craziness that comes with the ‘Teen Mom’ stars.

“We should all be embarrassed to have our community associated with this trash” an angry person wrote on the message board.

“Unfortunately this is the trash they are encouraging to come to our nice, peaceful hidden gem,” one local wrote, attaching a link to one of The Ashley’s articles about the girls at the retreat fighting.

“Well that sucks the class right out of the lake [area],” another person wrote.

“This is just a silly reality show filled with drama, entitlement and nonsense,” another resident added.

Meanwhile, across the lake…

As The Ashley previously told you, at least two fights have broken out among the cast since filming began earlier this month. The first fight took place on the first night of filming, when Briana DeJesus and Jade Cline faced off with Ashley Jones in a verbal altercation. The second “fight” took place last weekend and involved several cast members who were upset that the producers ambushed them with an appearance by Farrah Abraham.

  1. I live next to where they are filming and let’s just say it’s an older community. No kids, no young people. Everyone is going nuts. A community of retired people for sure. I can only imagine…

  2. Eh, they can just calm down. Talk about dramatic. Life is short. So a tv show is being filmed near you. Big deal. Either think of it as something fun and go check it out, or ignore it. Getting all worked up over it and making all of these over the top indignant statements about it is ridiculous. Relax. If that’s your biggest problem, count your blessings and take the stick out.

  3. There are an usual number of downvotes and upvotes on these comments. Do we have some Next Door people lurking?

  4. WELL MTV JUST HIT ROCK BOTTOM……..SHOWS ARE GOING UNDER………..YES. ABOUT TIME. THESE GIRLS ACTUALLY THINK THIS IS A REAL JOB……….THEY WILL SOON FIND OUT, WHAT A REAL JOBS LIKE…..

  5. I feel this should be against some permits to have all those lights and noise all hours of the night in a residential area.

  6. Has it been a LONG and NOISY week for some residents of the lovely San Deigo County?

They might want to try that free trial of Paramount Plus and binge watch these girls and realize how lucky they are that all these Teen Moms with their “drama, entitlement, and nonsense”, arent buying up swampland and McMansions next door to them.

All good things come to an end. And lucky for them, most bad and annoying things too!!

  7. I know people that live in California, embarrassing stuff happens all year round down there and the neighbors are embarrassed by this?

Go inside, watch tv, wear earplugs, spend time with your families!!

You do realize it’s been over a year since any of them have gotten together…right?? Of course they’re going to be rowdier than in years past!!

    Get…over…it!!!

    1. “Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another stepping stone to greatness.”

      stay lit TRUE DAT

    2. Not seeing each other for a year or more is no excuse to act like untrained baboons let loose in the city for some fun. Is that how you act when you haven’t seen someone for a year or more, like an animal? I doubt it is, lol. These are grown adults, they should act like grown adults. I know that’s not what MTV is known for, nor is it what they want, but come on now. Don’t act like this is perfectly acceptable behavior just because we all know MTV is all about the drama.

While I agree a whole lot of idiotic shit goes down in Cali, and plenty of other places too, that doesn’t mean any of it actually okay or that people living near it can’t be unhappy about it. Don’t forget all the other shit that goes with this kind of production: a whole lot of people, equipment, noise, traffic, nuisances, unlawful activity, and everything else. You act like they’re doing them a favor by filming here. It’s not like these people are bringing business into the area, supporting local businesses, spending time out locally in the area (they bring in their own food, services, workers, security, etc.. NOTHING is sourced locally). It’s a nuisance and people have a right to be pissed off about it. What’s it hurting you to let them be pissed off about it?

Maybe it’s a trivial thing compared to a million other things going on in the world, but, aren’t we all miffed by trivial things now and then? Hell you go off the deep end every time you get a downvote here, lol.

      1. Young people+alcohol+excitement to see each other and enjoy themselves is gonna = rowdy and annoying behavior.

Like SNICKLEFRITZ said “all good things come to an end. And lucky for them, most bad and annoying things too”.

So what are they complaining about? Next week itll be something else that “embarrasses the neighbors”.

And when did I go off the deep end about a downvote this time?? I got 235 of them, I know nobody likes me.

Too bad so sad, I’m gonna say what I wanna say and if you dont like it TOUGH SHIT!!!

And I don’t like alot of the things I read on here either but it doesn’t stop them so it ain’t gonna stop me!!

        1. Like I said, you go off a lot, especially with the whole “I do what I want” attitude, lol. It’s just part of you, it is what it is and anyone that reads here on a regular or semi-regular basis knows that’s how you are. Own it, it’s you! I never said you shouldn’t say whatever you want, go for it, everyone here does.

I realize that the combination is a recipe for disaster, especially when you add MTV and them getting a paycheck out of this, into the mix. That still doesn’t make it reasonable behavior. It truly is a shitshow anytime MTV does anything anywhere, really. It sucks they choose not to do and expect better, but I guess it wouldn’t sell as well, either.

I’d be unhappy being there too, especially given how quiet that area actually is normally. They could’ve picked a much better location that wouldn’t disrupt the lives of others, no matter how temporary. Let people be unhappy about the shit they want to be unhappy about. You want everyone else to offer you that same courtesy, don’t we all from time to time?

          1. It’s a retirement community (aka old people), what can they hear anyways??

Like I said, itll be over in a few days and they’ll find something else to complain and be embarrassed about. That’s the nature of old people.

They are entitled jerks that think “Hey I’ve worked my whole life, I deserve better.”

Well, deal with it. Its nobody’s fault these people are NEVER SATISFIED!!!

          1. LOL I’m saying! 😂 It’s like watching that one kid in class who just keeps talking even though absolutely no one gives a shit.

    3. Update 375 and counting

    4. Ladies and gentlemen, I have been to the Great Wall of China, I have seen the Pyramids of Egypt, I’ve even witnessed a grown man satisfy a camel. But never in all my years as a sportscaster have I witnessed something as improbable, as impossible, as what we’ve witnessed here today!

      408 and counting

    5. 666 and counting

Night was black, was no use holding back
‘Cause I just had to see, was someone watching me?
In the mist, dark figures move and twist
Was all this for real or just some kind of Hell?

Six six six, the number of the beast
Hell and fire was spawned to be released

      stay lit

  8. Imagine having this shit show right next door to you. At least when they’re on TV there is the mute button. Or you can throw the whole TV in the garbage. But Amber hollering about gel and her mental health right over the property line? Good lord, there is not enough vodka in the world.
