‘Teen Mom’ News Pile: Jenelle Evans & Farrah Abraham Accuse Each Other of Being Bad Parents; Ryan Edwards Gets Booted From a Bar & More

It’s the battle of the (un)fittest!

From attacking each other online to attacking fellow bar patrons, it’s been another busy week for the stars/former stars of the ‘Teen Mom’ franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.

Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…

Jenelle Evans & Farrah Abraham Basically Accuse Each Other Of Being Bad Parents

It’s kinda like fighting about which bucket of sewage is more toxic, no?

It’s been a minute since we’ve had a Jenelle/Farrah battle on The Interwebs, but this week, the Backdoor Teen Mom and the Lady ‘o’ The Land took a few swipes at each other via Instagram!

The online tiff began when Farrah debuted her new romantic victim partner on Instagram. Her haters speculated in the post’s comment section that her new beau was likely a “John”. When one person suggested that Farrah left her teen daughter Sophia home alone for Thanksgiving to go frolic in the Caribbean with her new man/thing, another person suggested that Child Protective Services (CPS) be called on Farrah.

Farrah responded to the comment by screenshotting it and replying with her signature “Farrah Speak” word salad commentary— which also included an out-of-nowhere dig at Jenelle.

“It’s possible to have it all haters,” Farrah wrote. “Fix your mindset. CPS is so JanelleEvans…haters are very confused.”

As The Ashley previously told you, Janelle Jenelle and her husband David Eason are currently under CPS investigation for various things. Jenelle did not appreciate Farrah taking a swipe at her, causing her to pounce on Farrah later that day online.

(The Ashley is leaving in the misspelled word to preserve the “Jenelle Speak” of the message.)

“Someone do a wellfare check on Farrah Abraham’s daughter,” Jenelle wrote. “Her mom seems very unstable in her videos online.”

The next day, Jenelle jumped on social media to further defend her own parenting.

“I’m not trying to prove myself to anyone…it’s really not that serious,” she said with a laugh. “I keep seeing comments like, ‘Take care of your kids, worry about your kids!’ Every single day, 24/7 that’s all I’m doing. Just because I don’t have a camera stuck in my face anymore and you guys don’t see every scope and aspect of my life, doesn’t mean that I don’t take care of my children.”

Jenelle right now…probably.

“Y’all are so worried about my life, yet you want me to stop posting,” she continued. “Yet you still want to know more. It’s very contradicting. The Internet is very contradicting.

“You post something online about your kids and they’re like, ‘Don’t do that, you’re exploiting them.’ And then if you don’t post them, you’re conceited. So which one is it? Do I take care of them? Or do I not take care of them? I guess we’ll never know.”

All of us trying to choose the better parent between Jenelle and Farrah…

Farrah has yet to respond to Jenelle’s statement.

Ryan Edwards & His New Boo Get Booted From Bar After Brawl Breaks Out

“But I ain’t on my. best behavior, neither.”

‘Teen Mom’ dad Ryan Edwards was booted from a bar on Saturday night, along with his halfway house honey Amanda Connor, after the two were allegedly involved in a bar brawl!

According to The Sun, Ryan and Amanda were kicked out of Westbound Honky-Tonk in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on Saturday around 10:30 p.m., with each being forcibly removed from the establishment by bar bouncers and Ryan reportedly yelling on his way out the door. (The Sun provided video of the honkey tonk squabble which clearly showed Ryan being pushed out the door of the bar.)

“Ryan and Amanda were with a group of people,” a witness told the outlet. “At one point, one of the guys in their group went up to Amanda and grabbed her by the face.

One of Ryan’s bar-brawl lovin’ lady friend’s mugshots…

“Amanda came back at him and started slinging chairs to go after the guy,” the witness continued. “The bouncers grabbed the guy and kicked him out. Amanda was able to get her last hit in before they got her out too.”

The witness stated that neither Ryan nor Amanda appeared to be drinking alcohol, but that Ryan could be heard “slurring his words” and appeared “out of it.”

Ryan–-who reportedly left the bar with Amanda on foot following the brawl–- currently resides in a halfway house on CADAS Rehab’s property; however, residents are permitted to sign out and leave campus.

“Y’all might wanna rethink that whole halfway house field-trip policy.”

This isn’t the first time Ryan has gotten himself into trouble while residing in the halfway house. Just last month, the father of three was busted for driving 145mph in a 65mph zone.

The general population every time Ryan is on the loose…

The Ashley can confirm that Ryan did not receive any charges for his latest…umm, act of misconduct. His next court date, however, is set for December 5, and his participation in the bar brawl will likely be discussed.

Mackenzie McKee Addresses Racist Comments She Gets For Dating a Black Man; Says She’s Tired of Her & Boyfriend Kheesy Hall Being Compared to Leah Messer & Jaylan Mobley

Khessy, the moment Mackenzie starts suggesting couple’s photoshoots on a weekly basis.

Former ‘Teen Mom OG’ star Mackenzie McKee took to TikTok recently to respond to social media comments she has received from people comparing her relationship with boyfriend Khesanio “Khessy” Hall to Leah Messer’s relationship with former fiancé Jaylan Mobley.

As The Ashley previously told you, Mackenzie and Kheesy are slated to appear on the upcoming season of ‘Teen Mom Family Reunion,’ despite Mackenzie getting the boot from ‘Teen Mom OG’ years ago following a racism scandal that ultimately played out on the show.

Like Leah and Jaylan–- who got engaged in August 2022 after a year of dating, but went on to split just two months later–- Mackenzie and Khessy are in an interracial relationship, but according to Mackenzie, that is the only similarity between the two couples.

“Does it look like I have a car full of girlseses? Exactly.”

“Let’s talk about this comment because you are NOT the first person who has said that, we actually get this comment a lot,” Mackenzie said while referencing the comparison comment on her screen. “Now, [Khessy] does not know the ‘Teen Mom’ cast, so he doesn’t know anyone’s story, but there are so many ‘Teen Mom’ couples that have come and gone. [Leah and Jay] is the only one that people ‘compare’ us to. It has nothing to do with our story, it has nothing to do with anything.”

Mackenzie went on to note that she was married (to ex-husband Josh McKee) for a decade, so her relationship with Khessy is the first time fans have seen her in a serious relationship with someone else, seemingly hinting at her disappointment by some people’s reaction to it.

“ … I find my literal soulmate, I find someone that you guys have seen–- we’ve been in a relationship for a year–- … and this is nothing against [Jaylan and Leah], I love Leah, but no one is saying why they are comparing us,” she said. “They don’t want to admit why that is the one couple that they are comparing us to.”

Mackenzie went on to claim that “so many of the comments” she’s received since she began dating Khessy have also criticized her dancing skills, the music she listens to and her decision to wear her hair in French braids. She stated that people now insinuate that she only does these things because she’s dating a Black man.

“Now all of a sudden I can’t dance? Or that I’m only dancing and listening to the music that I’ve liked this whole time and now I get to actually come out and be myself? All of sudden, I’m only dancing that way because my boyfriend is Black– that’s why you guys are saying that,” she said.

Mackenzie then did a little comparing of her own, stressing how much happier she is with Khessy than she was with her ex-husband Josh.

“I was stuck in a relationship where I had to listen to Merle Haggard and wasn’t allowed to dance,” she said. “I have danced since I was a little kid and if you know me, you know I love to dance. Did you think I just pulled these moves out of nowhere? I have always loved to dance.

“I reckon you’s too good to line dance now, eh? [Spit.]”
“The difference is, I am actually now allowed to do what I love and be who I am,” she continued. “Nothing against no one in my past. I’m just saying.”

Mackenzie wrapped up her TikTok by calling the comparison comments on social media “absolutely ridiculous.”

“ … You guys would not be saying them if my boyfriend–- my soulmate and the person who literally swooped me off my feet and changed my life–- was white,” she concluded.

Maci Bookout Reveals She Got Offered a Job at High School

“I’ve been getting paid for over a decade to talk about Ryan and drink beer on television, so this would be an adjustment for sure!”

Maci recently opened up about a job offer she recently got and, for once, it has nothing to do with her longtime gig on MTV!

During an interview with The Hopeaholics Podcast, Maci revealed that a local high school asked her to be the head coach of their girls’ wrestling team. However, Maci expressed her hesitation to take the job.

“I coach wrestling and I love coaching, it’s such a passion of mine. But I just got offered to be a high school head coach for a girls’ wrestling team,” Maci said, adding that the job was her “dream” after coaching her kids’ club wrestling teams.

“For me this is an amazing opportunity, and I don’t really have anything to lose,” Maci added. “But the girls who are wrestling do… I don’t ever do anything halfway but this is across town… I would have to be there every day and then leave there and go to the other club that I coach. So they’d be like, seven hours of driving and wrestling every day.”

Maci said she isn’t sure if she should take the job.

“I think it scares me,” she said.

  1. Recovery homes all vary in quality. Some don’t care much if you are clean and sober as long as you pay rent. Sober recovery homes are a big business. Imagine paying big bucks to live with 2 roommates in a single bedroom. I have to hand it to Ryan, he is one slick addict.

  2. Jenelle is so unlikable. The fact that Farrah is lookin like the bigger person and the better parent who would never stand beside a child abusing demon, or have a baby with every other soulmate, or ever lost custody of Sophia, should tell Jenelle enough about her own parenting.

  3. A lot of people doubt her, including for myself but I feel she can make a come back.

If she gets away from the cameras and truly works on herself. She came from shit circumstances too (most of em did and it shows), there were times her mom wouldn’t tall nor support her thru pregnancy and it’s all she wanted.
    I watched that MTV

I was able to watch her down fall and how it happened.

I’m studying psychology amd human behavior. I watch these girls on TV and I’m able to identify the patterns in all of em and how and why they became who they did.
Then them being on TV and having little consequences to their terrible choices magnified themselves and they got away from their core.

I really pull for these people because I can truly see how they have the best chances to getting their ahit together and having access to way more help than any of us (assuming, here. However, with what I said in paragraph above,
Macis comment about being scared to work for 7 hours just shoes how pampered they’ve become. So their chances of chaning aren’t the greatest.

To change, you have to truly want it. To change for better circumstances, you have to be able to come out of denial and face self. We are the ones who hold ourselves back. Not everyone gets to that point.

Look at Ryan lol I give him a year before dead. In six months I’ll reevaluate lol

    1. This is in response to “teamjaceforever” comment about amber that got posted uo here by accident.

  4. I don’t think jenelle knows what conceited means…
And how I cackled at the following:
    – Farrah’s New Romantic victim
    – Ryan’s new girl slinging chairs.. how appropriate for a girl that was a guest on Jerry Springer

    1. Was she on Jerry Springer??
Also cackle at Maci saying having a job for 7 hesa day scares her to ghink about

  5. wow–what happened to farrahs face??? so sad that she has done so much that she no longer looks anything like herself—

  6. I’d be happier with Khessy than Josh too, and as long as hes good to MacKenzie and the kids nobody ought to care about his race!!!

  7. 1) Well Farrah’s right. She’s not a stellar mom but she never had Sophia taken away by CPS though, Jenelle is the worst mom of the franchise and I’m including Amber.
    2) Mackenzie seems happy and can do and dance and wear her hair in whichever way she sees fit.
    3) Ryan is a POS and he’ll always be. He’s irredeemable.
    4) Maci never had an actual job in her life and it shows

  8. Here’s a thought, if you don’t want “haters” commenting on your IG posts about your kids, boyfriends, general messiness, etc., don’t post anything.

Accidentally posted this as my main comment

  9. I’m a little confused on the Mackenzie thing. My initial thought was that people were comparing her to Leah and Jaylan because they’re trying to say Khessy is only dating her for clout. Is that not the case or are people really solely comparing because of the interracial aspect? If it’s just interracial than yeah that is really messed up for people to hate on. Other girls from the shows have had interracial relationships, Kayla Sessler and Kail come to mind so why not compare it to them?

    1. I definitely agree McKenzie should have discussed what she ws actually talking about (clout vs interracial aspect), but she isn’t “too good” with words. I think it’s odd people are discussing her dancing and her choice of partner at all.

Josh and Mckenzie were like a cute high school relationship; they were both immature and very different.

One of the basic things MTV showed of Mckenzie was her being a cheerleader; isn’t that essentially dancing within the routines?

      1. Oh and I wonder if he’ll get commended for his “good behaviour” again at his next court appearance?! smh

  10. I had to re read macis explanation for not taking the job because I didn’t understand where she was getting 7 hours from. Then I realized she’s counting her drive to and from work with her actual working hours. And only 7 hours. GIRL wtf 😂

  11. The idea of a full-time job and 40 hr work week is so foreign to Maci that she’s factoring in commute time to bemoan a possible 7 hour work day

    1. Lmfao!! I had go back and reread it because I’m like wait…7 hours of driving across town?? Then I realized she meant 7 hour day and I cackled cause my ten hour work day and I would kill for 7 hours.

      1. I think every single person that has a full time job would kill for that LONG 7 hour day LOL! But ten hours… that’s brutal. I did it a short time before I had kids and it was a LOT. Kudos to you because it’s not for the weak. I work 8 hours a day and while yes, I am tired- 7 aint shit! Maci wouldn’t know how to function working at all though I think

  12. I only read this because when I was on bed rest with my now 16 year old, I watched 16 and Pregnant. But I continued to read this article. regarding MAckenzie, let this girl/lady/mom be happy. If she wants to drop it like it’s hot, let her. If people are really saying negative things about her having a relationship with a black man…that is pretty messed up. Only thing I disagree with is her not liking Merle Haggard. I love Merle…But, that is really neither here, not there.

    1. I agree and why in the world are people saying something about her wearing her hair in French braids? As if she’s never worn them before? Are they trying to pull a cultural appropriation thing here? French braids aren’t cultural appropriation.

    1. Right???

I hate agreeing with either one of them but they are making valid points in the “bad mom” accusations.
