Ashley Jones fired off a brutal rant at her Teen Mom: The Next Chapter co-star Amber Portwood over the weekend, slamming the mom of two for frequently appearing on TikTok Live while “high as f**k,” not seeking appropriate treatment for her mental health issues and for “trolling” her teenage daughter Leah.
As The Ashley has previously reported, Amber has been making regular– and at times, very unhinged– appearances on TikTok Live in recent months, during which she has verbally attacked Leah– from whom she is estranged– as well as Leah’s dad and stepmom, Gary and Kristina Shirley, some of her Teen Mom co-stars and even the ‘Teen Mom’ franchise itself.
Much of Amber’s storyline on the latest season of ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ focused on her and Leah’s fractured relationship, though viewers also watched as Amber opened up about her mental health issues– which she has done in past seasons– with the ‘Teen Mom’ cameras even documenting some of Amber’s appointments with her psychiatrist.
Over the weekend, Ashley hopped onto Amber’s turf TikTok Live to share her unfiltered thoughts on Amber, whom she called out for not being a good mom to Leah— and continuing to see a child psychiatrist, despite being well into her thirties.
“The fact that you sat on that couch for 16 plus years and you’re still seeing a pediatric psychologist, what the f**k is really going on?” Ashley asked, referring to Amber’s longtime doctor, Ron Stachler MD, who has been described on the show as a “child and adolescent” psychiatrist.
Ashley confirmed in her Live that her comments were, in fact, directed at “Amber f**king Portwood,” before telling viewers that she has absolutely had it with Amber insisting that she’s a good mom.
“I have had it with her funky ass couch, I have had it with those creepy ass ventriloquist dolls on her funky ass couch and I have had it with her consistent therapeutic sessions where she’s not getting a f**king tool to be a better person,” Ashley said. “I am sick of it … .”
Ashley claimed that the help her co-star has been receiving for her mental health is “not working,” and that Amber is running out time to repair the broken relationship she has with Leah.
“ … I’m here to tell you, Amber, if you want any chance of getting back with your daughter, you are running out of time,” she said. “If you already don’t have any more time, you’re running out of time, OK? You’re running out of time.”
Ashley alleged that Amber frequently goes on TikTok Live while high (something Amber has disputed).
“Get off whatever drug is making your pupils as big as the f**king globe,” she continued. “Get into some place, maybe an in-person place, maybe a f**king doctor that actually treats adults, do a brain study, I don’t f**king know.”
Ashley went on to say that above all else, Amber needs to get off of social media and stop publicly discussing her relationship with Leah, insisting that the way Amber speaks to and about Leah is “not normal.”
“ … Get the f**k off of this Internet trolling your 16-year-old daughter,” Ashley said, before bringing up the unhinged holiday rant Amber went on in the early hours of Christmas Eve 2024, during which she made some very shocking and unsavory claims against Gary.
“ … B***h, you went Live on Christmas? Are you well?” Ashley asked. “Santa’s flying around dropping down presents and you’re on Live on Christmas? Did you even call your daughter to see if she opened up the presents that you didn’t send?”
Ashley acknowledged during her Live that some fans may accuse her of being “messy” or “rude” by firing off at Amber; however, she insisted that no one on the show– herself included– is “exempt” from being talked about by viewers.
“ … I don’t give a f**k, I’m gonna tell you why,” she explained. “Y’all talk about me when y’all see me on the show and I’m talking about her because I see her on the show. Everybody’s up to be talked about because we put our lives on here, OK? No one is exempt.”
Ashley then called Amber’s situation “disheartening,” while stressing the negative impact it has on Leah.
“ … I’m not even just coming from a place of anger to Amber, I’m coming from a place of hurt for Leah,” she said. “Because she’s in school, she has friends, people undoubtedly know who she is, who her mother is, and to see that s**t and she’s going to high school? This is the peak of her life.
“She ain’t pregnant at 16, like some other f**kin’ people we know,” Ashley continued. “She’s going for her dreams and every turn she makes, here the f**k you are, making a f**king Live at 4 a.m., high as f**k, saying the same bulls**t we’ve watched for 16 years. It’s disgusting.”
As The Ashley previously told you, Ashley took to social media in March seemingly calling out Amber’s parenting, only to double down that same week by reminding viewers that she had called out Amber for similar actions years earlier, only to receive backlash from both Amber and the show’s fans.
“When I called Amber out years ago for being a BAD mother after she said she would ‘mutilate/kill me,’ I was called a mean bully,” Ashley wrote. “So like I said, I’m done with Amber entirely. However, I will always speak on MY REALITY OF being a mother as my BIO DAD is still actively using.”
The incident that Ashley was referring to happened back in 2022 while filming Season 2 of Teen Mom Family Reunion. After Ashley was not permitted to film her scenes with the other girls (due to being kicked off the season) she spotted vans on-set that contained her co-stars and twerked at the vans. For some reason, Amber– who was in one of the vans– was furious about what Ashley did, and she proceeded to call Ashley to let her know.
During the call– which Ashley later leaked on social media– Amber can heard screaming at Ashley, cussing her out, threatening to “mutilate her a**” and “f**k her a** up.” Amber also told Ashley to pray that she never sees her again, before promising Ashley that she would get her fired from the next season. (This did not happen, by the way.)

ASHLEY JONES SAID WHAT WE ALL HAVE BEEN SCREAMING AT THE TV (& HAVE BEEN FOR THE PAST 16 YEARS!) Stop coddling that grown woman who only uses her mental illness when she doesn’t have a man! I have not always been the biggest fan of Ashley’s but, I give credit where credit is due, and she said it. Someone needs to step in and make Amber take accountability for being an adult instead of just continuing to let her rot on a couch while receiving a paycheck and rehashing the same thing over and over and over and over as she has for the past 16 years.
There’s never anything new with Amber, same story different cast (of men) the only thing that is not a steady in her life is … drumroll – HER CHILDREN!
MTV, you really need to draw the line with your spoiled brat and tell her to get the help that she needs and get real and quit babying her OR FIRE HER! It’s absolutely ludicrous and it’s only continuing because the producers are allowing it. STOP BEING AMBERS “YES” PEOPLE. What is she gonna do, not like she’s moving from that couch at most she’s gonna make a random 2 AM live about why life is not fair — but for the record AMBER – life is not fair, because fair is where a pig wins a ribbon for racing, fair is not life.
Go Ashley go! You are spot on when it comes to Amber. MTV needs to get her off the show. Leah doesn’t deserve what her biological mother has thrown at her over the years. Kristina should adopt Leah and show her what it’s like to have a real mom who loves her and treats her with respect. Ashley, you have came so far and I have enjoyed watching you over the last few years. Pat yourself on the back because you truly deserve it, then some.
Personally, I cannot stand Ashley. Amber is an attention whore and yes – a horrible mother. However, it’s not Ashley’s business. What does she care about Amber’s sorry ass life? She should concentrate on her own trashy self (and get that huge clown nose fixed).

I don’t care for either woman, though Ashley is’t the pure trash that Amber is: I will give her credit for somehow having one of the best behaved kids on the show, Holly seems well adjusted and quite mature and thoughtful for her age. Leah is also a great kid from what we w see, thanks to her loving father and real mother….Kristina.
i have watched amber from the very first show and she was always on the couch or laying on the bed and leah would be crying and she would pick her up and put he out of the room.i used to wonder why she was always lieing down .i had kids and i neve r had one minute to lay down and i saw her beat on gary.i dont think she has as many mental problems as she says i think she is just lazy.when there are girl trips ec she is fine than.after all these years she should be showing some signs of improvment
Yes and Gary would get home from work and immediately care for his daughter, changing her filthy diaper, picking her up as she cried, while Amber screamed at him.
She’s not wrong but can we all just move on. I know we can’t stop Amber but we can stop giving her the satisfaction of reacting, responding, and lashing out. She hasn’t changed in years, calling her out hasn’t changed, just let her wallow in self pity and maybe one day she will realize how her kids, her friends, no one has anything to do with her.
First off , way to go Ashley. You only speak the truth. I am so happy that you have been a GREAT MOM AND you tried to be a good wife but that was one sided. I would put money on Amber if her and Ashley ever got into a boxing match. I recall Amber taking kickboxing lessons at the fancy rehab and then she joined a gym. She had a pretty good roundhouse kick. But the Judge made her stop taking lessons due to the Gary case. Come on Amber, get back in the ring!!

I think we’ve all been saying it for years; Amber is not putting in the work. We can look back on her 16&P episode and see the exact same things that we do now. The same bullshit drama, the same bullshit excuses, the same bullshit attitude. She’s made absolutely zero growth over the years. Leah is so lucky that she had a fantastic dad like Gary and a great stepmom like Kristina. She didn’t have to grow up fully entrenched in Amber’s nonsense. I think Amber is honestly jealous that Leah is going places and the only place Amber goes is between different couch cushions.
I never refer to Kristina as a “stepmom” She is a mom who stepped up. Leah is so lucky to have Kristina in her life, and Gary is a great and loving father.
