‘Vanderpump Rules’ Exes Ariana Madix & Tom Sandoval Settle Years-Long Legal Battle Over Valley Village Home: Details

Best of luck to the next owners of Ariana & Sandoval’s Bad Vibes Abode…

Former Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval have reportedly settled the lengthy legal battle over their once-shared Valley Village, California, home, nearly three years after “Scandoval” ended their decade-long relationship.

According to Page Six, the exes finally reached an agreement this week, with Ariana filing a notice of settlement of the entire case in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday. In the filing, it’s noted that the dismissal of the case is “conditional,” which requires specified terms to be completed within 30 days of the date of the settlement.

While Ariana and Tom are due back in court February 5 for a final status conference, in the event that Tom doesn’t complete the specified terms, the exes’ case will proceed to trial on February 17.

“Don’t treat this like our relationship and completely screw it up, Sandoval…”

As fans of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ may remember, Ariana and Tom had been at odds over the fate of their shared home– purchased for $2 million in 2019– since ending their relationship in March 2023. (Fans also likely remember that the couple called it quits after Ariana learned that Sandoval had been engaging in a months-long affair with their mutual friend and co-star Rachel Leviss.)

“I know…I can’t believe we’re still talking about this disaster either.”

As The Ashley previously told you, Ariana filed a lawsuit against Tom in January 2024, requesting that a judge force the sale of the residence. In her lawsuit, the Love Island USA host asked for the payment of debt involved with the partition costs (aka the force sale), including “reasonable attorney’s fees and title expenses.”

Tom went on to respond to Ariana’s lawsuit the following month, alleging that Ariana had borrowed $90,000 from him, which she had yet to pay back. Tom claimed that until Ariana did so, he would not agree to sell their home, which the two continued to live in together for months following their tumultuous split.

A month before Ariana filed her lawsuit, Tom had accused his former “Dumplin” of not paying “a single bill for [the] house in eight months”– including the mortgage– and argued that he had contributed more money into the home than she did.

“The galaxy lights, penis flute and white nail polish stains? That was ALL me!”

Tom also claimed that he had offered to buy Ariana out for substantially more than what they had paid for the house; however, it was revealed on the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 11 Secrets Revealed episode that he offered Ariana $600,000, which he insisted was equal to the two of them selling the home for (an estimated) $3.1 million and splitting the earnings.

Meanwhile, Ariana– who purchased a $1.6 million Los Angeles home of her own in March 2024 amid her legal battle with Tom– argued that she “paid for the majority of stuff” in her and Tom’s home.

In May 2024, both parties demanded a non-jury trial to resolve the legal issues surrounding their Valley Village casa. In separate case management statements the exes filed that month, both noted that “discord” existed between them.

Well, at least they agreed on THAT…

Ariana and Tom have yet to comment on the agreement that was reached regarding their formerly shared residence.

  1. Yes Sandoval is a graduate of the Kody Brown Real Estate program. He should have borrowed some of his graphs, might have helped with that buyout he was attempting.
