It’s Over…Again! ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Star Bear Brown Separates From Wife Raiven

“We’re the Ross and Rachel of the Bush!”

The saga of Alaskan Bush People stars Bear and Raiven Brown continues.

Raiven has announced that they have separated…again.

Raiven took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal that she and Bear are no longer together; however, the split is apparently much-more cordial than their previous breakups.

“Bear and I have separated,” Raiven wrote. “We have decided to go our separate ways after years of trying we have decided that it’s better to co-parent and find happiness. We are friends and we have love for one another. But unfortunately it’s just not been a possible outcome to work things out with one another.

“We will co-parent well and both parents will be very actively involved!” she continued. “No anger is behind the decision it’s just something we have been discussing and trying to manage. We are so appreciative of everyone who has been in our corner and we hope that you can continue to support us in this journey.”

“My biggest goal is to make sure that is as easy as a transition for my kids as possible and they still get to have a great relationship with both of us,” Raiven told someone in the comment section.

Bear and Raiven have had a rocky relationship dating back to September 2019 that’s consisted of Raiven filing (and later dropping) several restraining orders against Bear, a messy custody battle over their oldest son River and allegations of abuse and drug use. Following several court proceedings and a whole heap of drama, Bear and Raiven reunited (and broke up a few more times) before finally tying the knot in January 2022. Bear was arrested two months later for allegedly putting his hands on Raiven, who had a no-contact order placed on March 14, 2022. Two days later, she asked the court to rescind the order.

The pair patched things up until December 2022, when Raiven announced that she and Bear had separated. They ended up staying married and even had two more children together, the last of which was born in August 2024.

After Raiven made the announcement on Sunday that she and Bear had split, Bear “liked” her post, indicating that he agreed with what she posted.

Due to all of their past separations, some fans told Raiven in the comment section that it was a mistake to once again share news of yet another split. In response, she revealed that she didn’t want to keep the news from fans.

“I can’t hide it forever,” she wrote. “My life is way to[o] public. The comments won’t make a difference. I know truth what happened and what didn’t and I know what’s best for my kiddos.”

“I’m happy we did our best and tried,” she told another person in the comment section. “It’s not a negative thing it’s just simply trying to make sure everyone is in the best situation. The children come first.”

Bear and Raiven’s split is the latest to hardship to happen in the ‘Alaskan Bush People’ family. Just a week ago, Bear’s little sister Rain was arrested with her husband for first-degree burglary. In February, Brown Family matriarch Ami Brown suffered life-threatening health issues that landed her in a medically induced coma for a period of time. One month before that, Bear’s brother Noah and his wife Rhain announced their breakup in January (via a very bizarre TikTok Live session).

Bear has yet to comment on his and Raiven’s split; however, on Sunday he posted a video to TikTok featuring him and Raiven and their three boys heading to spend Easter with Bear’s family.

UPDATE! On Monday, Bear confirmed the separation and stated that he and Raiven are parting on good terms.

“Raiven and I have decided to separate, we are still good friends and will be co-parenting together, it’s something we have been discussing for awhile, and we feel it is the best thing to do for us, and our children,” he wrote on Instagram. “There are no hard feelings between us, and we will always have love for each other! This is a mutual discussion, so please be respectful to Raiven and don’t be hateful. God bless Thank you everyone for all your support throughout the years!”

  1. They will get back… again… And she’ll get pregnant… again…
They are both toxic, they’ll remain in that cycle forever. Poor kids.
