2026 is kicking off with a good old-fashioned Teen Mom 2 feud!
Jenelle Evans and Kail Lowry reignited their years-long feud on Tuesday and continued to spar back-and-forth on social media on Wednesday. The feuding former co-stars took jabs at each other’s pasts, and Jenelle declared that she was going to overthrow Kail in the podcasting arena with her upcoming podcast.
Because The Ashley is somewhat responsible for starting off the sparring session, she has decided to recap the events of the social media squabble thus far. (And, before anyone asks The Ashley “don’t you have anything better to do with your time?” just know that the answer is no; no I do not.)
Here’s The Ashley’s breakdown of the events of the last two days…
Jenelle first got “big mad” after The Ashley posted the week’s ‘Teen Mom’ News Pile, which included a story about Kail making a comment about Jenelle (and Briana DeJesus) while on-stage at her friend Matt Mathews‘ recent comedy show. As The Ashley previously told you, Kail was speaking to a member of the audience and asked the woman who her favorite ‘Teen Mom’ star was. When the woman replied that her favorite is Kail, the mom of seven replied, “Me? Thank God it’s not Briana, obviously! Or Jenelle! Oh, f**k.”

Jenelle was madder than a swamp hornet after hearing Kail mention her at the show, leading her to immediately blast Kail on Facebook and X.
“Kail has to mention me and Bri at some point in her ‘live shows’ …because how else would she get views.”
Jenelle— who has tried to start a podcast multiple times (but failed miserably)— then promised that Kail’s reign as Queen of the ‘Teen Mom’ Podcasts would soon be coming to an end.
“But move over Kail my podcast and network is next,” Jenelle wrote.
As The Ashley previously told you, Jenelle announced last year that she and her on-and-off best friend Tori Rhyne were starting a BFF podcast. Tori moved in with Jenelle in Las Vegas but, sadly the podcast never came to fruition, given that the girls got into a “dramastic” fight (partially over underwear and hospital bed-wetting…as you do).
After Tori went back to North Carolina, Jenelle threatened announced that she would be doing a solo podcast (with “moms she met on TikTok”) but, as of press time, the world has not yet been graced with The Jenelle Evans Podcast Attempt 3.
Anyway, Kail— who is apparently making 2026 her year to be petty—- immediately jumped in to offer her thoughts on Jenelle’s threat to her podcasting empire. (As fans know, Kail currently has three podcasts of her own, and runs the KILLR Podcasting Network, which features other podcasts.)
“I just peed from laughing so hard,” Kail wrote in the comment section of Jenelle’s post on Facebook.
Jenelle was hit with a barrage of negative comments, with some reminding her that she has not been very successful with her previous business ventures or podcasts. She took to X to respond to the critics.
“I have a huge team behind me with this podcast. Just wait, another hobby of mine I’m turning into a passion like I do with everything else in my life,” Jenelle wrote, before stating that her “podcast shoot” is already done.
Both Kail and Jenelle were up and at each other bright and early Wednesday. Jenelle jumped on X to slam Kail for her recent pettiness.
“Hey Kail remember that time you came out with your ‘S**t List’ on TikTok?” Jenelle wrote. “Yeah my mom was going through a stroke. That time was very hard for my family. You’re a cold hearted bitch and I’ll never like you.”
(On October 3, Kail posted a list to TikTok of people and things she felt have betrayed her, and she included Jenelle on that list. Around that time, Jenelle’s mom Barbara Evans did suffer a stroke. However, the news of Barb’s stroke was not released publicly until October 6 so, technically, Kail would have had no idea about Barbara’s situation when she made the post.)
Jenelle also accused Kail (and her other nemeses) of “attacking her” online while Barbara was recovering.
“I also remember during that time it was Kail, Farrah, and my sister clout chasing and attacking me online,” Jenelle wrote. “For what reason? Still have no idea but it took everything in my will not to respond. Now all f**ks are out the window. 2026 here I come.”
Jenelle then stated that she has sympathy for Kail and the others.
“I feel bad for these girls. Imagine being so insecure you bring me up every few months. I’m literally running laps in their heads at this point,” she wrote.
Kail also used Wednesday to up the pettiness level. In a video posted to social media, she gave her thoughts on the situation.
“Obviously by now I’ve already seen Jenelle throwing shots,” Kail began. “I honestly don’t give a f**k. I would love to see someone make a TikTok with a whiteboard and a ‘beef’ timeline because you’re not about to come on these f**king apps and try to clown me, Jenelle.”
Kail then said that she isn’t able to communicate with Jenelle directly because Jenelle has blocked her on social media, and Kail no longer has Jenelle’s phone number. She insisted that she was a good friend to Jenelle back in the day.
“The friend that I was to you, you can’t say s**t about me,” Kail said. “Everything that you f**king do, is just going to come back to you in karma, tenfold. You’re forgetting when you stole my friend’s items and I had to bang on your f**king hotel room [door] to get her s**t back. You’re forgetting when I had to call out of work because MTV is begging me to go get you and I said, ‘You know what? Let me go make sure she’s good, let me go pick her up.’
“You’re forgetting when I took you and your mom to the airport,” Kail continued. “You’re forgetting I picked up you [and your ex-husband] Courtland [Rogers] when y’all were strung out in New Jersey. You’re forgetting when I bailed her out of jail! Please do not f**k with me today. It’s 2026…”
(This is not the first time Kail has mentioned some of these incidents. She previously talked about doing some of these things during a 2019 episode of ‘Teen Mom 2.’)

This is just the latest battle between Kail and Jenelle. They have literally been fighting with each other for over a decade. Back in 2016, Jenelle took aim at Kail getting plastic surgery from Dr. Miami, bragging that “if I don’t like my stomach, I’m going to go work out, stay active and healthy, because honestly, you can go get all this work done, but in a couple years, gravity is going to pull all that down, and it’s not going to look that great.” (Ironically, Jenelle recently revealed that she had just had the Mommy Makeover surgeries that she slammed Kail for having back in 2016.)
In 2018, Kail predicted on one of her podcasts that she and Leah Messer might “throw hands” at Jenelle during the ‘Teen Mom 2’ reunion that was coming up, after Jenelle’s then-husband David Eason made some snide comments on social media about Leah’s daughter, Aleeah, and Jenelle defended him. (Despite a lot of talk, Jenelle and Kail did not end up getting into an Amber-and-Farrah-esque on-stage catfight.)
A few months later, Kail brought up Jenelle on her Coffee Convos podcast, after Jenelle accused her of using her name for clout.
“I don’t care about Jenelle or what she does,” Kail said at the time. “If she’s making headlines, and we talk about it, that’s really it. I’m not sure why she continues to tweet about me. Both of us keep [the feud] going, but you can’t sit there and say that I can’t say stuff about you on the podcast, when you’re making these crazy videos, you’re doing… whatever you’re doing that’s obviously making headlines, so we’re going to talk about it.”
Kail advised Jenelle to not post “dumb s**t” on social media if she doesn’t want people to say anything about her.
Later that year, Jenelle infamously burned a press kit that Kail sent her from her haircare line. Jenelle told Kail not to send her any more “peace gathering” (um…) items.
In 2019, the dueling duo got into an online scrap after Jenelle felt that Kail had been bragging on ‘Teen Mom 2’ about all the times she had helped Jenelle out. Jenelle was none-too-pleased with Kail’s bragging, prompting her to blast her online.
“Lmfao don’t act like you’re my hero now,” Jenelle wrote at the time. “You gave me a ride in the past to pick up my mom… that’s helping someone’s entire life and doing ‘so much’ for them?
“If anything the ONLY woman that helped me through my deepest darkest time was my MOTHER,” Jenelle added. “Thanks to her I was able to get through it all and overcome everything.”
In 2020, the girls engaged in a back-and-forth online fat-shaming feud, and the following year Jenelle revealed that she had turned down an offer to go on Kail’s podcast, due to Kail refusing to apologize to her off-air.
“I feel like Kail uses who she wants to gain popularity, and I wasn’t up for that,” Jenelle said in a YouTube video posted June 2021. “This podcast wasn’t about Kail wanted to reconcile with me. It was really about ratings. I feel like, in the past, Kail has always used me…It’s always been using people with her and I don’t know if she’ll ever change.”
In 2022, Kail actually issued an apology to Jenelle. However, the apology was not to end their feud. Instead, Kail revealed that she owed Jenelle an apology for blaming her for leaking her pregnancy to the media back in 2017. Kail— who was pregnant with Lux at the time– stated that Jenelle deserved an apology since she had recently discovered that it wasn’t Jenelle who blabbed.
In more-recent years, the girls have randomly taken jabs at each other over various topics.

UPDATE! Jenelle was back on social media early Thursday to continue to fan the flames of her feud with Kail. In a video posted (and then deleted), Jenelle talked about some of the things that Kail has done to wrong her in the past.
“Another day to waking up to a bitch talking s**t about me,” Jenelle began her video. “Hey Kail, how you doing? We haven’t talked in years. Wonder why we haven’t talked in years? Since we’re going over everything about being friends let’s go over everything you’ve done to me!”
Jenelle again brought up Kail’s “Betrayal List” TikTok post (mentioned above).
“That’s when my mom was going through a stroke,” Jenelle said. “But you had to bring me up. Weird. You just had a live comedy show with that Matt dude you’re friends with, and you had to bring up me and Bri. You had to just throw a jab at us, had to bring up our name.”
Jenelle then brought up her old manager, Johnny Donovan (who Jenelle stopped working with after she accused him of stealing money from her. They have since reconciled. Johnny also used to represent Farrah Abraham and worked with Kail in the past as well.)
“Who did you have on your podcast?” Jenelle asked Kail. “My old manager talking mad s** t about me. And who started that? You did.”
Jenelle then brought up another incident from the past.
“Remember when I was going to come out with a pregnancy product and you went behind my back and told Johnny, ‘Hey, you should kick Jenelle out. You actually should have me because I’m better.'”
The Ashley can offer some clarity on this claim, which is actually true. The “pregnancy product” was the Laboraide mouth device (click here for The Ashley’s recap of the infamously weird commercial Jenelle and David did for it!) As The Ashley reported back in 2017, Jenelle received a very hefty paycheck for appearing in the commercial and that did not sit well with Kail. At the time, Kail was actually pregnant with her son Lux, while Jenelle was not pregnant. (She had given birth to her daughter Ensley a few months prior.)
The Ashley’s sources told her at the time that Kail did actually try to snake the job from Jenelle, arguing that it would make more sense to hire her because she was actually pregnant. Obviously, the company stuck with Jenelle, though.
Anyway, Jenelle then claimed that Kail used to beg her to help get her into OK! magazine parties. (Back in the mid-2010s, a lot of the tabloids would throw quarterly parties in which they would invite reality TV stars, etc. to come and do the red carpet. The Ashley covered a ton of these parties back in the day.)
“Remember telling me, ‘Hey can you get me into any events, Jenelle?’ And I did, every time,” Jenelle stated, adding that, despite this, Kail would still ignore her at ‘Teen Mom 2’ events.
“We’d walk into the Reunion, and I didn’t exist to you,” Jenelle said. “That’s how it always went. But when you need someone’s help, you’re their best friend. And that’s how you operate, and this is why you have no friends. This is why you keep no friendships or relationships.
“I’d appreciate if you come up with some other topic other than me and Bri to talk about all the time. We seem to be running laps in your head, which is pretty crazy,” Jenelle said with a fake, Barb-like cackle. “But anyway, stay tuned for my podcast. It’s going to be coming out very soon. Step over Kail.”

Kail went to school, is making money, and is financially independent. She also can’t keep her legs closed and has managed to have a kid with almost every guy she hooks up with. She has finally admitted that she created 4 broken homes. However, she has never lost custody of those kids, has never been arrested, and has never been seen being anything but clean and sober.
Janelle has done nothing, has created 3 broken homes, has drug problems, doesn’t work, and has had no part in raising Jace, being a good mom to Kaiser, and…..oh Ensley…..we shall see.
I think its time to stop giving theses grown women any lip service. The MTV ship has sailed.
Ensley is going to get pregnant at 15. If she hasn’t already gotten someone pregnant. Jenelle is going to become the youngest grandmother in the franchise. You’ll see…
Thanks for the Laboraide trip down memory lane laugh. That and the Lil Kaiser, another winning product Janelle endorsed. Janelle might actually be telling the truth that Kail got all petty and wanted that gig. But Chris was too embarrassed to be seen in public with Kail, much less do a “commercial” with her. Although for a cut of that $90k, maybe he would’ve because all he saw in Kail was dollar signs.
Can Jenelle name 3 friends that she has? How many friendships and relationships has Jenelle kept? She’s so out of touch. She’s absolutely everything that she’s accusing Kail of. While Jenelle hasn’t had 99 babies with 98 fathers, she’s the same level of trainwreck minus Kail’s success as a podcaster. Do I believe Jenelle is going to come out with a podcast soon? Possibly. But will she stick to it like Kail has? Absolutely not. Jenelle can’t finish anything she starts including her own sentences.
All the drama aside, I LOVE that Jenelle finally acknowledged how much her mother has done for her. I’m here for Barb finally receiving that recognition from her.

Agreed. The only difference is Kail is more intelligent – both have ZERO emotional intelligence, but Kail at least has some business sense and is more educated. Although Janelle tied her tubes after 3 kids which might have been the only sensible decision she ever made.
