From blasting grandparents online to blasting off into a new career, it’s been another busy week for the stars/former stars of the ‘Teen Mom’ franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Jenelle Evans Claims She Has to “Protect” Her Son Kaiser From Both of His Grandmas
It will be a very swampy Christmas for Jenelle’s middle child, Kaiser.
The Sun broke the news on Friday (and The Ashley can confirm) that the fired ‘Teen Mom 2’ star has refused to allow Kaiser to go to his grandma’s house in Tennessee over his holiday break, like he’s done in years past.
While Kaiser’s father, Nathan Griffith, is not active in his life currently, Nathan’s mom, Doris Davidson, has continued to spend time with Kaiser. However, this year Jenelle put an end to Kaiser’s usual trip to Doris’ for his winter break. (While Kaiser was on The Land last year on Christmas, he did go to Tennessee while he was out of school.)
The Ashley can confirm that this is not the first time in recent months that Jenelle kept Kaiser back from a scheduled visit with Doris.
“Jenelle did let Kaiser speak to Nathan on the phone on Thanksgiving though,” The Ashley’s source tells her.
As The Ashley previously reported, Jenelle and her husband David Eason are currently under CPS investigation, stemming from (in part) child abuse allegations made by Jenelle’s oldest son Jace against David. (Jace is not currently in the care of Jenelle or his grandma, Barbara.)
“It’s unsurprising that she is keeping a tight reign on the other kids since she has so much going with her legal issues over Jace,” The Sun‘s source stated.
Anyway, Jenelle was not happy to see The Sun‘s story, and responded to it on Instagram Stories on Friday, stating that she is “protecting” Kaiser from both of his grandmas. (As The Ashley has previously reported, Jenelle and her mom Barbara are not on speaking terms and continue to battle in court over Jace and other assorted things.)
Jenelle texted Nathan to investigate who sold the story to The Sun, and she posted a small portion of the text exchange between them. In it, Nathan states that Doris told Barbara the information that was reported.
“I’ll always find out. Thanks Nathan,” Jenelle wrote.
The fired ‘Teen Mom 2’ star— who has battled Doris repeatedly in the past in court— then implied that Barbara sold the info that Doris told her.
“When grandma’s get together to talk s**t this is what happens,” Jenelle wrote. “And yeah, no wonder I’m protecting my kids from them.”
Kail Lowry Talks About How Her Older Sons Feel About Helping With Her New Babies
Kail can’t stop spawning, but she insists she’s not going to turn her oldest sons into surrogate parents for her younger kids.
In a new interview with People, Kail opened about her fifth son Rio’s birth last year, and discussed how her three oldest sons– 13-year-old Isaac (with Jo Rivera), nine-year-old Lincoln (with ex-husband Javi Marroquin), and six-year-old Lux (with Chris Lopez)– are handling having three babies in the house.
(As fans know, Kail and her boyfriend Elijah Scott recently welcomed twins after secretly welcoming son Rio in November 2022. Kail is also a mom to three-year-old Creed.)
“My biggest thing right now is that I don’t want my [younger] children to be the responsibility of their older siblings,” Kail said.
Her oldest son Isaac has made it clear that he does not want his mom adding more kids to her already plentiful litter. (Back in April, Kail shared on her podcast that Isaac left a Post-It note on her bedroom door that stated, “Use a condom before you end up with yet another kid.”)
Despite Isaac not wanting any more siblings, Kail insisted that he does like to assist with the younger kids.
“He may be tired of me having babies but he’s not tired from helping,” she said.
Her third son, Lux, is also eager to do baby-related tasks for her.
“Lux will fight to help,” Kail told the magazine. “He wants to make bottles. We’ll be getting ready for bed and he’s like, ‘Just let me make the bottle.’ And I can make the bottle five times faster, but sometimes you just got to let them help because they’re asking.”
Kail recently hinted that she may still be open to having even more kids.
The fertile former ‘Teen Mom 2’ star recently shared a video on Instagram of two sisters bonding with one another, calling it “the cutest thing I’ve seen in so long.”
“I feel like my daughter needs a sister,” she added.
Kail shared the video and accompanying comment just a month after claiming on another episode of Barely Famous–- presumably recorded prior to the twins’ birth-– that her family was now complete.
“No more pregnancy, no more pregnancies, no more surprise pregnancies, unplanned pregnancies, pregnancy, surrogacy, none of it,” she said. “It’s all done. The chapter of motherhood will be closing as far as baby-making, but I’m excited for my kids.”
Jade Cline Is Ready to Get Her Real Estate On; Has Officially Launched Her New Career in Indiana
Jade Cline has gone from “slaying” hair to selling homes.
The ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ star (and salon owner) announced on social media this week that she has officially entered the real estate business.

“As many know I started my real estate journey earlier this year and worked so hard to be where I’m at!” Jade revealed Tuesday on Instagram. “I would love your support! Follow my business page @dreamhomesrealtyindy.”
During an Instagram Q&A session last month, Jade told followers that she was planning to leave the beauty industry behind and try her hand at selling and flipping houses.
“Being an entrepreneur was always the dream,” she told one of her fans. “I love hair but I won’t do it forever.”
According to her business page on Instagram, Jade is now an official Keller Williams Agent for Dream Homes Realty LLC, working in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area.
The news of Jade’s latest career venture comes just months after her ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ co-star Leah Messer announced that she was planning to start slingin’ homes herself as a real estate agent in West Virginia.
Leah shared in September that she had officially passed both of the exams required to becomes a real estate agent in her home state; however, as The Ashley previously told you, just weeks after landing a job at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Central in Cross Lanes, West Virginia, Leah revealed she had been let go from the job due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Leah claimed at the time that she would be starting the “interview journey with new potential sponsoring brokers,” but has yet to provide fans with any additional updates. She has, however, since removed an Instagram post from September in which she listed her professional achievements–- one of which was completing the “Real Estate Salesperson Exam.”
Meanwhile, Jade has already updated her Instagram bio to reflect her new gig.
Yet Another ‘Teen Mom’ Star Joins the PCOS Club
Briana DeJesus announced that she was recently diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), making her at least the third ‘Teen Mom’ star to have the hormonal disorder.
Bri announced the news on Twitter this week.
“Ya girl got diagnosed with PCOS recently & there’s so many cysts in my ovaries they stopped counting,” she wrote. “Knowing that Nova and Stella may possibly be the only kids I have or birthed is such a weird thing to come to terms to but cheers to the lord above, its all in ur hands now.”
As ‘Teen Mom’ fans know, Maci Bookout and Kail Lowry also have PCOS and have talked about the disorder on ‘Teen Mom’ shows and on social media.
(In case it wasn’t covered on itsyoursexlife.com, PCOS is a “hormonal condition that affects women of reproductive age,” according to the World Health Organization website.
“PCOS can cause hormonal imbalances, irregular periods, excess androgen levels and cysts in the ovaries. Irregular periods, usually with a lack of ovulation, can make it difficult to become pregnant. PCOS is a leading cause of infertility.”
Briana revealed on Twitter that she was not surprised by her diagnosis.
“I know for a fact I’ve had PCOS for a while,” she told one follower.
Another person on Twitter suggested that this may be Briana’s karma for sending her nemesis Kail a treadmill in the mail in 2021, despite Kail having weight issues that could possibly be due to her PCOS. However, Briana insisted that she didn’t send Kail the treadmill because she thought she needed to lose weight.

(To be fair, Briana stated at the time that she sent Kail a treadmill because she wanted to give her something to run on, instead of running her mouth about Briana and her family. However, on the show Briana did mention Kail’s weight when discussing wanting to send her a treadmill as a gift.)
PCOS is not the only health issue Briana has. Back in 2021, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with lupus.

Here is my opinion about the psychopath, she’s finally getting her karma because she’s been out of control for years and now she’s claiming that she has PCOS in order to stay relevant and have a storyline!!! Think about it first she bullies and sleeps with Kail’s sloppy seconds then denies it but it was only proven when she wore Chris’s shirt that she’s a skank and sends Kail a treadmill by making fun of Kail’s weight then at first she denied it again only to spill the beans on TV, then decides to not only to continue Kail but add Ashley to her list and provoke physical violence alterations with Kail and Ashley on the show and reunion shows then she starts bullying on Ashley which a physical confrontation with the psychopath starting it and continuing to bully both Kail online and off (this time about Kail being diagnosed with bipolar I have it as well but my diagnosis is manic depression and bipolar) resulting in her almost being fired from the show but the stupid producers decided to keep the psychopath and continue to condone her psychopathic behavior!!! And now she is starting to bully Leah!!! It’s time for her to hold accountable for her psychopathic behavior and FIRE HER!!! Time for the psychopath to go welfare and food stamps since she is NOT WORKING AND STOP USING THE SHOW AS A SOURCE OF INCOME!!! Then go get the psych ward for a long time!!!

So she restricted cps from interviewing them several times tried putting a pfa on Babs because David abused Jace and is now holding kids back from grandparents. How many red flags does cps and the courts need to see to help these kids
The “teen moms” are in their thirties. Some of them have grown up, some of them are perpetually sixteen. I think these shows have run their course.
The swampster is “protecting” her children. Oh please, she probably sold the story because she can’t make anymore money off click bait articles about her oldest son. They thrive of the drama because it puts a couple of bucks in their pockets. Without click bait, they might have to get… jobs!
What Jenelle is doing is classic in situations where one is being controlled and under the thumb of another (the Swamp King). She’s restricting her other children from family (she probably has no friends left), to not only show a sense of “control” in her own right (when she really has no control over anything in her life, her husband does), but to also keep the children from a possible safe place where they can be honest about what’s happening in their homes. I am speaking from experience as this was my life for many years, and I finally got out in 2021. She is doing nothing as far as “protecting” her children. She’s alienating them and further driving them into the pit she found herself in, and she thinks she can’t get out. Get help Jenelle. Leave. It’s not the end of the world. No one can control you but you. No one knows what’s best for your children other than you. Things can be forgiven, but the longer you take to leave, the harder that will be.
I come from a family of real estate agents and we chuckle to see these newbies try and get into it now. Despite what you’ll hear, it’s a terrible time to be selling real estate especially if you’re brand new with no clients or a name in the industry

Stop shooting out babies with different baby daddies, I’m sure her latest relationship won’t last either so yeah…with the new one she prob will have one too. This is why you don’t do cruel things to people Briana. Fat shamed Kail over a medical condition, went as far as sending her a treadmill, and ended up with that same exact medical condition. And she can try and gaslight all she wants, but you don’t just “gift” someone a treadmill they didn’t ask for unless you’re trying to humiliate them.
Jenelle….I wish the courts would put a life long gag order on her. She’s on this dummy mission to make her mom and Doris look “abusive” or whatever the hell she’s trying to do…but in the same breath she defends her demonic husband who has pending child abuse charges against him for choking her kid. I hope once all the kids are old enough they write tell all books blasting Jenelle worse than she blasts Barbara.

And her stupid business cards! Doesn’t anyone proofread? Why is the first word of the sentence NOT capitalized but many other words are—unnecessarily? And “I can help” italicized and badly spaced? I would never hire her just based on these cards. So unprofessional. It looks like a middle-schooler designed it for a class assignment.

If anything, the kids need protection from Jenelle. I’ve never felt so much second-hand embarrassment for an individual.
The kids are going to grow to resent Kail especially when she kept having more babies when it was made clear they weren’t happy about more. Of course it’s not up to the kids it’s her choice but don’t be surprised when they start requesting to spend more time at their dads because they’re tired of being around their mom who pops kids out with everyone she hooks up with.
She’s isolating those kids. She knows they’ll spill. Maybe she can get them to lie to CPS but she knows a few days with grandma and Kaiser will be spilling. This is truly so sad for all of those kids.
Jenelle doesn’t want the risk of having Kaiser spilling the beans about the awful stuff happening in the Swamp
Would someone please protect these kids from Jenelle and David’s lying ass and take custody? That is my Christmas wish. Well that and Micheal needs to get custody of Anna’s oldest daughter from Mama June.
